Asymmetrical Density

Hi there, here I am again.  I was diagnosed with Ductal carcinoma in my right breast two years ago.  I just had my 2nd mammo and they found asymmetrical density in my LEFT breast (that had not been on my last mammo).  I have to go for an ultrasound next week, but of course am freaking out.  Does anyone know what asymmetrical density is?

Thank you!!!!

When looking at the mammo they look at both breasts at the same time to see if one looks different from the other in a significant way.  If they are significantly different they are "asymmetrical" (not symmetrical, that is not the same) and it could be because there is a "density" (thick place) in one breast that is not showing in the other.  A density does not necessarily mean cancer, but it should be checked out.
