So now I have a fever after having this painful red, itch red rash on my breast for 3 weeks.  Cream did not help.  On antibiotics now.  Doctor called and says she thinks it's an infection now more then IBC because of the fever????  What do you think?  Any one with fever's diagnosed with IBC?  Also having me pout warm compress on and feel like it's making it worse.....  Any thoughts?

    Hi Bobbie,

I had extreme redness from above my lumpectomy breast almost to my waist.  I had a fever and chills too.  This happened in Jan and April.  My onc flipped out and wanted to put me in the hospital on IV antibiotics.  I refused and he gave me very strong antibiotics for 10 days and said it was cellulitis which can be very dangerous.  When I went back for a re-check, he said there was still a little there and put me back on the anti-biotic for 7 more days.  Then he sent me for an ultra sound which was just yesterday--no results yet.  Please go back to your doctor about the fever and continued redness--there are so many nasty infections and bacterias around. Ask for additional tests if it does not go away.

I started TCH X4 on 5/20/09 andcharm bracelets so today is day 15. I had no sign of shedding until yesterday -day 14 seems to be the magic day for the hair loss to begin.moissanite I haven't cut it off yet but plan to tonight UGH:( My head feels like a christmas tree in June. I feel like if I touch it all the hair will just drop like dead pine needles. I have lots of hats and scarves and two wigs but I am still not sure how I willceltic jewelry react once I take the clippers to it. I too thought I might be the exception to the rule but I guess not. The rest of the side effects were far less severe than I expected.
