Lisa, I'm glad to see things have been going well for you.  That first shower sure is an awesome day!  XO

I have read your experiences with cancer. Last year I was diagnosed with cancer, after my surgery. Before the surgery no one said that is cancer. I was 32, no children, a boyfriend, my mom and my little sister (a 8 years difference between us ) and lots of fears. After the surgery I had done chemo, and radiation, the surgeon eliminated the node and removed the lymph nodes. I gain some weight and now I am fighting over it. I didn't stop working - I am a High school English Teacher - the major ordeal was loosing my hair - I worn several wigs and I am very optimistic. Besides the chemo, my oncolog doctor prescribed me a trial drug - Avastin - and I was receiving it a year. Now I feel good, I wait to see if my period will return, I want to have a child and to be healty.

     Good luck to you all

    Miruna:

I hope that your recovery continues to go well.   I haven't heard of the Avastin, but I'm sure that it's something very new and helpful.

    GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Lisa - I saw your blog, congrats on taking your first shower after surgery!  It was such a memorable day for me, LOL.

Sorry you had some pain after the fill.  Mine were filled 100% AT the time of the recon and I can relate.  Holy pressure!  Hope it eases up for you.

Now if I could just do a better job shaving my pits -- I guess I won't have to worry about that for too much longer, though, right?  LOL!  Chemo starts next week!
