New Advice Needed -

Options

I haven't posted in awhile - I'm now through with chemo & radiation.  I've gone a whole week now without any doctor appointments.

Just wondering how long everyone felt the exhaustion - I'm really looking forward to getting some energy soon.  Hasn't happened yet but I'm sure any minute now !  I'm just now starting to see some hair growth (never thought I'd be happy to be shaving my legs again)  Also, am dealing with the nail loss - just my fingernails.

I know we're all different but would love some nice hopeful thoughts !

Thanks !!

After my last radiation, I had 28, I was really exhausted. Around 7-10 days later my energy was back. My last radiation was on a Friday, and I went to my parents house for the weekend so they could look after my almost 3 yr old. I slept the whole weekend.

Oh to be young again, lol,  I am 3 weeks out of rads and on no meds at all.  And I have NO energy at all.  I do a couple things around the house and have to sit down a rest a while. This really sucks,  usually I am very energetic and always doing something, now I feel like a "recliner potato", hope you feel better soon.

You won't like what I'm about to say.

I finished rads Aug. 11. I STILL have a lot of fatigue. I can't do even a  fraction of what I could do in a day before treatment, and MUST pace myself and keep my limitations in mind all the time.

I will add, I'm 58, had mast, chemo, and rads, and I have 2 teenagers at home. (Maybe it's the last thing that's really exhausting me?)

Honestly, it took me about three months to feel myself again...whatever "myself" is lol.
