    Amber and Dan;

As I pray for Amber's comfort and god's loving arms to embrace her in her journey to be with him,  Dan I think of your strength and devotion to her and your children especially over these last few months. You are an amazing husband and father , You have set such an example and I am certain made Amber's last few months enjoyable and memorable for the children.

My heart breaks for the lost of a young mother not being physically here for her daughters and sons, yet I know that with such love for her children Amber will never be too far.

Please have comfort in knowing that many people that have not met Amber or you have been touched by your story and dedication to life and love.

Prayers are being said and Ambers candle burns.

    Christine  ((((((  hugs )))))

Dearest Amber- I am new here - have little to worry about compared to some. I don't know you, but know your soul as it is the sprit and soul of my Dearly Departed Mother- who was given 3 months and lived 3 + years. Sometimes a blessing and sometimes not BUT you have the peace that she had and I felt her prescence for years and know that she watches over me (us) and is a grand Gaurdian Angel. You must be fantastic to know and I am sorry to meet you late in our journey. As demonstrated- you will not be gone- the threads above show that you will be in the hearts of many- but you are and will be at peace- Good for you - Gods Speed and I am so glad to have our paths cross.

    Amber,

I am crying, in awe of your beautiful words & courage. It takes a strong woman to make that kind of decision....I fully understand and support your decision. Quality of life is as important as life itself. God will be waiting to open his arms to you, a special angel, whether in life or heaven.

My Mom recently made this decision herself after the doctors said not much else can be done.

I just wish they were more honest about what to expect as the end nears. She was a 7 yr DC survivor  until last Jly when it returned to her chest wall& masectomy scar. We see them popping up almost weekly & it is frightening, especially without knowing how this will pan out.

I am new to this board, but to all of you, I say, "May the good LORD welcome you when it's your time , may it be an easy transistion & you will be in a better place. OIne day we will all be there together again.

    God Bless you.

    Dan and family,

I thought of Amber's blog about her birthday party and how it was a glimpse of her arrival in heaven.  We know she was welcomed with open arms and great joy.

May our Lord send you his peace and comfort.

    With love,

    Pat

May she rest in peace, no more pain, no more suffering . . . and peace and comfort to her family.

In tribute to Amber, I remember her wonderful sense of humor while reading her blog - I never knew her nor corresponded with her, but she wrote a really humorous account of getting a CT scan, complete with pictures of those "delicious" smoothies one has to imbibe beforehand.  I read her account the day before my third CT scan of this year, and I laughed out loud - she gave me courage through her account, and also a good laugh - Amber, I want you to know that your CT blog helped me so much through that ordeal . . . and I know you are laughing about it now, remembering, while you are now in the midst of Paradise . . .

    Maria
