Yay! Chemo's Over. Anyone starting rads in Octorber?
I made it through chemo!!!!! First, 4 A/C rounds, spread over 8 weeks, then 12 weekly taxols!
It as a much more emotional day than I thought it would be. I held it together through my rads consult, then my appt with my onc. Then, my nurse walked into the treatment room and I lost it!!!! Completely fell apart. Anyone else experience this at the end????
Treatment went well and I am glad it's over.
I start radiation in October, 35 treatments. Anyone else out there joining me?

Yes, just did my last of 4 DD Taxotere on Thursday, onc says 4 wks. to rads, and I have an appt. with radiologist (first one) this Tuesday, so I will be right there with you! Good luck to us and let's hope we have gone through the worst we will!

Just finshed DD AC and the 4 DD Paclitaxel last Tuesday. Done with Chemo. I look like freaking bald humpty dumpty now, and have my rad onc consult next week, so may have to start rads in Oct with you girls. God bless!!

I might just be starting by the end of October. I had my surgery last week and I will be close to being healed enough to start my 6 1.2 weeks. My first post op is Thursday and I should know if she thinks I can begin by then. I don't think I will have to have chemo, but I am still waiting for test to come back, hormone receptor, which I believe is the factor as to if I need chemo or not.
