Mum, that's a hummingbird, is it not? Really amazing. I can't believe the little sweetie will perch on your finger like that! Wonderful photo.
Hi, all you cuties! No cute pix today for me, but mum's photo reminds me of a cute story. Just before vacation, I finished treating a patient who had knee surgery. He's kind of a gruff, tough gentleman of around 70 years old who's an old Navy man, tattoos up and down his arms, growly voice, the whole bit. Well, I pull up and get out of my car and start up to his back door. And he's sitting out on his patio with a pile of peanuts, enticing a little chipmunk to take a peanut out of his fingers. And he proceeds to tell me how he tamed a chipmunk last year with peanuts and got the chipmunk to come up to his lap and sit on his shoulder and everything. And he's got this year's chipmunk to come up to his feet so far. He's all excited telling me about this, like a little kid. So we do our thing and when I'm ready to leave, he gives me a big bag of his homegrown tomatoes and a peck on the cheek and a hug! And he says if he gets the chipmunk to come all the way up to his lap, he's going to call me so I can come over and see it. I love working in home care...

KAK---I love that story!!! Your work must be very rewarding. Hope you find answers for your fatigue. If anybody can------------YOU can!!
Hugs to all you cuties!!
-
KAK - great story. When I worked for PETA's sanctuary/pet cemetary the cemetery caretaker lived on the property and taught a lot of squirrels to climb his pants leg to get a peanut. It was cute; however, everyone had to carry peanuts because the squirrels would line up in front of the barn for anyone, expecting peanuts!
Mum - beautiful - I don't know how you got him to trust you - I guess all animals can tell good person when they see one!
Coonie - love the cow picture.
-
Love the cow and squirel photos. Let me see if I can find something from my trip last week to add.
I probably shouldn't of took this photo but my husband thought it was cute. AAHH to be young again.
-
I wonder if its more about being comfortable with yourself and in your own skin.....seems like it would e rather freeing and liberating not being bound up in bras/awim tops that are never comfortable.
-
Aahh - to be that young and in that kind of shape!
-
It is a purely sweet photo.
-
Great googa mooga------------that's me and my hubby

Happy Sunday cuties!!
I have to tell ya'll a cute story from my little class this morning. I'm with a bunch of 3-4 year olds, one of the other ladies is teaching a Bible lesson about creation. For the past several weeks, we've covered the moon, sun, stars, flowers, animals.....well, today the lesson was when God created man. My friend was holding something in her hand and having the kids try to guess what it would be when she opened it. They guessed everything from bugs, spiders....so she opens it up and puts it right in front of a little girl "Lili"..thinking Lili would see her self in the MIRROR and say, "God created me"......well, you guessed it.....Lili said God created mirrors!!!! I just LOVE this age group.
-
Ok....can someone be so kind as to take me under their wing & teach me how to insert photos into these posts ?? ...or at least direct me to where there are instructions ???

I work with 3-4 year olds every day and yes they are so funny and cute.
One 3 yr old little girl had a bruise on her chin and I asked her what happened.
She could not think of the word for "chin" and was obviously thinking of how it looked when she saw it in the mirror. She said " I bumped my.., I bumped my...I bumped my Me.
I about melted at her cuteness. LOL
-
Children just DO say the cutest things. Thank you all for sharing. I do not have much of an opportunity to hear cute children stories........now dog stories THAT is my forte.
