Hi gals,
The botox lesson for the day:
$10 is cheap! Make sure it's real botox..look at the syringes b4 you let them stick ya.
It will depend on what you get botoxed. Crows feet can be anywhere from 10 to 15 units. I think my forehead was about 12 or 50 ... LMAO Not real sure, but there was alot of teeny weenie syringes laying there. They poke you a couple dozen or so times in the muscle/muscles to paralyze them. Oooh, sounds horrible doesn't it? It's not painful, but you may want to slap the PS when they are doneIf you all lived closer, we could have a Botox party, my PS does them all the time. For filling in wrinkles you need to get something like Restylyn or Rejuvinex. ( I have never had) so I do not know how that goes. I am feeling a tad better, thanks so much for asking. I will be seeing Gastro guy on Monday. I will know more then. Love to all!
Dee~ -
Dee, SO glad we have you to give us the info..I had NO idea it took so many syringes of botox for a treatment! Wow. Seems like it worked really well for you though...are you glad you had it done? Yeah, a "botox party" would be fun...esp if Pants and Jocks came along to keep us hydrated. Hope your gall bladder calms down for the weekend and your gastro guy can be a big help on Monday! Everyone must be having a great week, cause its so Q U I E T here....lol.
Aloha, Kathy

Cheers from Frankfurt! Thanks for all the photobucket advice, I am sure the resizing will work. I have all my recent pics on my digital camera and on my laptop. Unfortunately using my laptop at home is not possible due to the way my desktop is crammed in the corner of the office in the corner of the desk unit so I have to wait until I have room internet in Europe and I don't always and sometimes I have to use the hotel computer like tonight. I promise pics soon!
I had botox done once, not too much, and it does work and does sting IMO but one has to keep it up otherwise you go back to the 'before' photo! It really worked on the frown line between my eyes! Unfortunately all of my hard earned money is going to the bathroom addition and upstairs remodel. I went over budget on the tub and lights and now have to scale back on the floor and wall tiles. But then isn't debt the American way???
It is after 7 p.m. here so I'm going to have dinner and then some scotch. Was hopefull that Chicago would get the 2016 Olympics. Oh well. Cheers!

Happy Birthday kittycat!!!

Happy birthday kitty
CHEERS TO 40 YEARS! -
Happy Birthday, Kitty...sounds like the Vegas girls had a great time.
Botox--mercy--I wouldn't be a candidate--my wrinkles have wrinkles. I used to joke about my "laugh lines". Hah...I am just old. Too much sun, booze, lots of laughs, and smoking sure doesn't help. Sounds like I'm the oldest of all--turned 62 my birthday. Lot of days I feel 80, but in my heart I am still in my 20's......(My daughter will turn 40 next week--that makes me feel really old).
Is Lori on her way to Hawaii? Looking forward to hearing about her wedding and seeing some pics. Jaybird--happy remodeling--such a pain in progress and so much worth it all at the end. We re-did one bathroom and got half-way through a second before we kind of petered out. One of these days, we'll get it finished.
Hmmmm Friday afternoon--DH should be home soon--he golfed in the Koman tourney today. Think I'll go get a head start on Happy Hour. Taking my ML out poolside.

Hi junie..."Pants puleeze bring junie some cold ML's...actually a bucket full of ice and cold ML's would probably make her VERY happy!" Joining you by the pool....such a gorgeous day....think maybe a pina colada or mango daiquiri sounds good and festive for me. Getting a head start on kitty's birthday party....think the guys might jump out of that huge cake over there??? I heard some good bands are coming over tonight to play for us all...sounds like a fun PARTAY!
jaybird, hope you are having a BALL in Frankfurt! Is Oktoberfest over with in Germany? Such good beer there, regardless. Can't wait to see the pics...bet the redo is looking fantastic! Sorry you won't be here tonight for kitty's party, but we'll be thinking of you! Maybe we should drink extra for you, what d'ya think?
Hauoli la Hanau Kitty!!!

KITTTY!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! I am prepared for a party but I am going to have a find the early birds and get my seat. Home from doctor now...my surgery is a go. Blood pressure down for now anyway. For hell sake...The botox sounds like a steal. I have never had any but I am thinking I will need a lot of syringes. Maybe if I ask my doc on Monday afternoon when he uses his sharpie marker on me, he will shoot me up with the botox early bird special. That way, I wont feel any pain. Oh, I love Friday ya all.....Kitty is in same time zone as me so she might just be getting started on the vino. I am waiting for some cold CL from the underpants boys....they certainly need to step it up.....nice flashy birthday photo Kathy. Junie...no company this weekend? Chimichanga to all.....HunkyD
-
HunkyD, Glad the b/p has gone down, and the surgery is all set. Not fun, but then you will be one big step closer to being all done! We need you to get some creative pic posted for kitty's 40th....maybe with the guys in it???? You are so good at that! OK guys, get HunkyD some really really cold CL's...pronto!! Guess they were busy with the birthday preps and didn't get our drinks out as quickly as usual.
Yeah, junie, I think Lori left on Wednesday for Hawaii. Hope they're having a blast and having great weather.Good thing the tsunami was not posing a threat to the HI islands.
CAZ and jaybird, hope you are both having fun on your trips! Dee, you look amazing...if thats what botox can do, I would sign up in a heartbeat (but I think you had some good looks going for you b4 the botox!).
We all need to plan that get-together! I think our birthday gal is MIA....where are you kitty???
As HunkyD says....Chimichanga to all,
Kath

YAY HunkyD....I knew you wouldn't disappoint! Looks like they rescued "kitty", so now she isn't MIA anymore, and can be at her party! Way to go (you are soooo talented)!!! Lets PARTAY!!!!

Glad we were able to help also....nice to come here and just unwind, or vent, or get drunk together. I have enjoyed being here as well. And the party is in full swing....except I still have not seen Kittycat....here kitty, kitty.... Guess she'll just have to read about all the fun she missed!
