Thought and prayed for you today Candie....hope everything turns out ok
-
Thank you Coonie.
I went for the MRI. The technician saw how upset I was and tlod me to come into the other room.
He showed me the pics of all he took. There is scoliosis and 2 herniated discs. He told me what bone mets would look like and he doesnt see that.My spine looked uniform in pattern. He saidbone mets are black holes in the bones. He also told me not to tell my Dr. what he showed me or told me cause he could lose his job and he would deny showing me anything. But he said he felt for me that I was so upset.
I have been thinking that if it was cancer he never would have showed me. I told him when I sit I feel pressure in my lower back and in my abdomen. He says that is probably from the herniated discs but that I should mention it to my Dr.So now I wait to hear from my Dr. I feel a lil better but will feel alot better when she calls which I figure should be on Friday
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I will be in touch.
Hugs and prayers

Candie - Just wanted to pop in and say - Congrats! Great news...so happy for you! I know the fear... all too well.
That Technician... there's a special place in heaven for people like him!
(Don't forget to "play dumb" on Friday when your Dr. calls!) lol
-
Laura, thank you so much for posting. The support we get here is priceless!!
-
Jo, thanks for posting.
No mets...No Mets....No Mets......Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My PCP called to day and she sang it to me...her and I call it "C". She sang...no C a few times..she is so cool. She says lots of arthritis in spine as well as hips as showed on the xrays.
I told her I can handle arthritis, herniated discs and scoliosis...boy what we settle for just as long as it isn't "C". Thank youall for being with me through this. I will always be here for all of you.
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

I'm doing the happy dance for you!!!!!!!!!! You go girl!!!
-
thank you....
-
Hey Candie.....starting my morning off by giving thanks for your great report this week!!!
-
thanks!!!
I went to the hand specialist yesterday. I have a nodule at the bottom of my right thumb...it's ok, nothing to do about that.
I have a bone cyst on my left wrist. That has to come out. I have to call to make an appointment for the surgery. He said it will be a quick surgery, in and out, put me to sleep but just lightly. I can go to work the next day.
Hugs and prayers

Candie, God is watching over you, I am so happy again to hear the good news, Take care and keep it up. Hugs, Debbie
I think if it were serious, the pain would not just come and go. I remember reading in Dr. Susan Love's book, that you would definitey know if it were serious, because the pain is like no other.
Don't mean to scare anyone, but I disagree with this statement. I had all sorts of post-chemo aches & pains. When I finally DID have mets pain, it felt like the other had, just coming & going on various bony spots on my body. I eventually fell & broke my hip -- now THAT was pain like no other LOL! That was a 12 on a scale of 1-10!
Don't overly worry, but please do check it out. Hugs.
-
Hi Candie - I just wanted to say I am so glad it was not mets. Good for you for having it checked out. I am so happy for you!
Wishing you continued good health.

Thanks for your continued posts. The support here is so wonderful. I do have to have surgery on my wrist. I have a bone cysts on my wrist. The ortho dr. says it is common. He will send it to be biopsied as a precaution. Not sure when the surgery will be....will keep in touch.
-
Candie - so glad it wasn't mets. It does sound like the kind of pain I experience. I know mine is arthritis - my bone scan showed arthritis everywhere!
-
What a great tech (IMO)
Sorry to hear about your surgery for your wrist.
-
Kathleenand Jamieh, thanks for your concern. I appreciate it. My wrist surgery is Tues. I hate surgeries and I hate the being put to sleep part. But this darn cyst is so painful!! It wakes me up in the middle of the night. I can't lift anything with that hand either. So I do need to have it done. I know it is simple surgery but I am a wimp.
-
Candie..... sorry kiddo I didn't know about any of this. I haven't been here for a bit. SOOO happy for you with the no mets! I've had the wrist surgery you're having. It's not bad at all. You'll do great. Gentle hugs kiddo.
