u/s abnormality

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this.  I went for my 6mo mammo and u/s today.  Mammo was negative but they found a suspicious area on remaining breast.  I had indicated that I just started having soreness in my axillary area (she noted it was a lymph node but not abnormal on u/s) and when she found the suspicious area in the breast tissue I also noted tenderness.  She didn't seem too concerned but wanted to do a biopsy with my past history of BC and the reported tenderness.  Otherwise, she would have waited and just had me follow up.  The area also had increased blood flow on u/s.  Ofcourse as I'm sure everyone here can understand I'm a little worried despite her confidence...mainly because of the tenderness and the increased blood flow.  Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience.

I had a complex fibradenoma show up only on u/s. Not on mammo. Fiboadenomas are benign but can be a marker for cancers in the region. Mine was. In fact that is how my cancer was found....in the surrounding tissue removed when they removed the fibroadenoma. I would have a biopsy just to be safe but if it shows as a fibroadenoma I would have it removed. Better safe than sorry.
