Great fall picture Deb! I LOVE the fall too. The leaves are changing fast because the nights got cold fast. The cold snap changes them overnight...I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!

cold snaps, ginger snaps...love the fall. I think we just missed the colours in Vermont last week. A few (not many at all) were starting to change but nothing to be excited over. I hear they colours are suppose to be brilliant this year.
-
arnie, Yes the colors are coming in faster than the norm. I have to go up in the attic and get my decorations down.
I got too much stuff!
-
Well great googa mooga.......we still have trees full of green leaves, lots of green grass. mosquitos, and humidity. I'd love to retire somewhere and order perfect weather. I wonder where that would be the perfect escape destination??
(((( Checkum )))) I sure hope you're still feeling better and not working too hard.
(((( Sharon )))) I thought about you ALL day long. Hope your day has been a good one!
****love to all of you ****

Good afternoon Escapees!! Hope you all have had a terrificious Tuesday!
I've been trying to "escape"--------with the encouragement from Faith---------on a new bicycle that I just bought. Just couldn't do the walking because of feet problems. So....excuse me while I say a few cuss words......that dadblame, cock-eyed, dadblasted, dadburnit seat is so hard it makes my bootocks hurt....LOL. And Faithie.....I STILL cannot get that cockeyed odometer to work right. I have spent hours and hours, well, minutes and an hour trying to figure that thing out. I know I've probably rode at least 10 miles so far since I've had the thing, but I want everything to work RIGHT!!! I've gotta get some exercise in.
OK.....so now I've vented to my sweet escapees. Sorry! Any suggestions?? Just don't exercise? Is that the answer? Sit around and eat chocolate, cookies, cake, ice cream???? SOMEBODY better come to my rescue, or else I'm gonna be in BIG, and I mean BIG trouble!! LOL
((((((huggies to ya all)))))
edit: 'cause I had too many "mad" mistakes.........hehe
-
Mum. I REALLY needed that hummingbird image tonight.

I am finally allowed out of bed.Had my Mast on Monday surgeon changed from a simple to a radical incision decided she needed to take a few lymphnodes. But I am sure Pathology will turn out fine. Hopefully that was my final surgery. DH was making me stay in bed but he went to work today so I was able to escape the bedroom. Now I can go through my Jamaica photos and show you more of our escape. Here is one to start taken from our balcony.
-
how beautiful...how are you doing Mum? Bestest thoughts for a speedy and uneventful recovery!
-
My DH and I did not join in we simply enjoyed watching them.
-
Heres a better photo of just the falls.
-
My mum and dad have friends who owned a place in Jamacia, they often visited and actually did do some sightseeing. Falls was one thing they did. Mostly ... they thought about what they were going to do and had drinks while planning all this activity which usually did not happen
. Loved going and spending time w/their friends. Some yrs ago the wife died (bc, I think) and no one had the heart to go back. It was Claire's favorite place to be.
-
How sad it really is a beautiful island.
-
thats what I understand. In fact my mum (a nurse) went down a few times...just her and Claire during the last yr so she could be there for as long as possible. She and mum had been close friends for YEARS. Claire found Jamaca to be the most peaceful, relaxing, beautiful place...some day I would like to go and see for my self. Your pictures are really reinforcing that thought
. I'm so glad you were able to go and had such a good time.
-
The pictures are gorgeous MUM. It DOES look like a beautiful place.
I didn't realize you were having a mastectomy. I knew it was surgery, but wasn't sure. If you don't mind me asking.....are you having reconstruction? I praying for a great pathology report too!!! I know I felt SUCH relief after my mastectomy, and everything else was ok. WHEWWW!
((((very gentle hugs to you))))
Thanks for sharing the pics. We'll take more when you're up to it and when DH isn't there to monitor you.....LOL
-
mum,
Which resort were you at ? Love that first picture. I'm so glad you were able to take the trip before your surgery. We have been there several times and lovvvvvvvvveeeeee it ! My SO loves to scuba dive and I love to lay on the beach with a book and a mudslide
)
I had to laugh when you said that DH was making you stay in bed but he went to work today
That so sounds like me, my SO was so protective I can totally relate ! I will be praying that you get path report quickly with good news. Take Care !
Blessings all Escapees
-

-
I just can't stay in bed anymore I will go bongos.
Coonie no I have done alot of research and decided not to reconstruct time to throw out all my bras.
