Neesie, I pray for you and Fred always...
Hollyann, I will add your DH and friend and DD to my prayers as well.
And love and hugs to all who need them.
It is getting chilly, we don't seem to need more wood! We have quite a stockpile, so how about some hot chocolate?
-
You know.............tonight is one of those nights that I just don't know what to do with myself. After hearing about Mena, I headed here............where we all originally met. And what do I find? All these wonderful Hugs and prayers being sent to my DH and I as we enter this last phase.............What more can I say?
Hugs,
Denise (Neesie)

(((((Neesie)))))) (((((Fred)))))
No matter how far away we may be, true friends are always together and here for each other.
I remember how much you did for me when I was rediagnosed. You got me through some pretty rough times. I only wish I could help you now, when you need all of our love and support.
Saying extra prayers and sending you hugs across the miles tonight.

Stopping by the fire to give everyone a Hug--especially Mena's family, and (((((Fred & Neesie )))))
-
I brought cheesecake to the circle. That is what the ladies on the golden girls show always ate when having a rough time. When we think of those gone ahead smile for they are smiling down on us. HUGGSSS
-
(((Neesie and Fred)))
I have this image of Mena holding on to Patrick Swayze's arm as they walk into the light.
-
and knowing Mena, there's quite a dance to her step.....

I read the circle thread for quite awhile before pulling in my wagon. Since then, I have met the most amazing women not only online but in person. I went to NY and enjoyed a wonderful weekend of love, laughter, tears and have memories that will last me a lifetime. I shared the "condo" with AlaskaDeb, learned how incredibly strong CY was, met the first woman who talked to me the night I entered the chatroom here( thank you jenni_ca). I learned that purpleMB was just as wonderful in person as she was in the chatroom. I was fortunate enough to have Helen1 as one of my dearest friends. I regret not ever meeting her in person. She was a strong lady as was Mena and so many others we've lost. I sat and listened when Mena needed someone to talk to. I've talked with many on the phone. I will treasure each of the things I've learned and experienced thanks to so many ladies. The circle is a wonderful caring place and I thank each and everyone of you who post here.
Sending everyone love, prayers and hugs,
Liz

I am making a fresh pot of coffee. Come sit awhile and we will chat . We can remember our dear sisters who have gone ahead. I believe they are smiling on us. I have learned so much from so many.
-
Remembering all those who passed and everyone who is still fighting the battle. I'm going to pull up to the camp fire and stay a while. Love a cup of coffe and brought cinnamon rolls for everyone. Enjoy!
-
Coffee sounds great ..
I have some granola bars packed in the back of my wagon
for those who remember, mine is a little different
-
Made us some hot choc. There is marshmellows, if you like the lil tiny ones. It is a beautiful evening we can see the stars. Our dear sisters are looking down on us. I bet we are a topic of conversation. Bless all who gather here.
-
Much caring, encouragement, advice, love, hurts, fears, loss and tears have been in the 1002 pages of the circle. Those that have moved on or those that we have lost are forever in our hearts and shown us courage and dignity in the most trying circumstances. It isn't any wonder that we are still drawn to this place - just to check on things from time to time.
Hot chocolate and some cinnamon buns sound pretty good. I've tossed on a few logs as the air has a chill as the seasons once again are about to change.
-
I haven't posted here much--but do alot of reading--I love the wagon circle. God Bless and watch over everyone here. I've brought a few extra logs, and some hot chocolate and marshmallows for everyone.
-
((((Neesie and Fred))))..Thinking of you both today.....
Naniam, my friend is not 18 yrs old, I have known her for 18 years, lol........I spoke to her last night and she is doing well...She was surprised to find she had 6 drains in her back...She told me she is cut from one side to the other along her bra line.....I nearly cried remembering my own experience only I was cut hip to hip with only 4 drains.......Also my DH is doing much better now thanks to getting enough sleep.....Poor fellow had been unable to sleep well for weeks.....My DD's shingle are gone and seh is doing well now too.....Thank you all for your concern and prayers......
Hugs to all in the circle.....Here is some coffee and french toast with syrup for breakfast......
-
