Opting Against CME and Taxol

I"ve been posting up a storm, so please bear with me.  My onc recommended 6 months of CMF followed by 3 months of weekly Taxol.  She wants to make sure and kill my ovaries, which I'm not too keen on absolutely eradicating them.  She also said that I had a choice of TC times 6 with 4 and a half months of Xeloda (oral form) and then double mast and radiation.  I"m ER/PR + with 2 out of 3 nodes positive.  I think I'm opting for the TC now and need to call her Monday to discusss.  The TC round doesn't have as much C and shouldn't totally obliterate my ovaries.  Has anyone been through a similar treatment who wouldn't mind giving me some feedback on what looks like my treatment path, at this point?

Thanks so much!  Up late last night and early this morning -- my mind hasn't been able to rest!

Everyone, take good care and hugs to you all.  This is a sucky position to be in, but at least we have each other.  Laughing

My mistake: CMF and Taxol -- I'm having quite the morning!  Sorry for the typo!

    Take care,

Sammy, like I posted to you on your other thread--get a second opinion. This onc sounds very aggressive, both in her surgical recommendations and adjuvant recommendations.

I actually got 4 opinions before I proceeded with treatment, plus my case went to tumor board 4 times. There are no absolutes in any of this as far as treatment goes, and you have to be comfortable with the route you chose.
