nancy that is soooo cool! I may try and get one made before the luncheon next month. the 'Charlie's Angel bra' is coming along wonderfully. I went to my sister's last night and we pinned purple satin on the cups of the bra and decided to use the battenburg lace angels and beaded lace trim to accent the bra. I am going to stiffen the angels with the 'stiffy' stuff I use for my crocheted snowflakes. One of them is facing forward with stitched flowers on the center, the other two that we are using are profile with their arms outstretched and we are attaching them in the charlie's angel pose (left one pointing left, center forward, right pointing right).

    Hi Ladies,

I'm new to this thread but was able to see the SC bras on display.  They were amazing, and I loved the whole idea of it.  It's a great idea for increasing awareness!

Maybe a purse could be raffled off or as a door prize.

Let me update you on the Glitz and Glamour art bra show that we are doing locally. We have 16 bras that have been created for our show, a few of the themes: Sunny Side (sunflowers), Crusin for a cure (car collector), Brick house (women are strong), 2 based on gone with the wind characters, Myrtle beach or bust, Bald is beautiful, Colors of Cancer Support as well as the Charlie's Angels bra. To finish off the Charlie's Angels bra we added organza ruffles over the shoulders as a type of wing. I went yesterday afternoon to my son's former high school English and visual arts teacher and he was able to mix a CD with 16 different songs to play for the fashion show on the school's radio station computer. We have such a wide variety of music to go with the bras to be modeled. I will get to see all the bra's Monday night at our meeting before the show on the 26th. I will be taking picts of the bras on Monday night modeled on Druscilla (that is the name my sister gave to her mannequin for dress designing). I am hoping that the cancer facilitator will be able to put the pictures on the wig bank web site and I will provide the link to view them.
