I'm sorry I never got to know Mena, But I know she was a beautiful person just from reading all the beautiful words everyone has posted about her. RIP Mena---You were loved, and will be missed by many.

I am so saddened to learn of Mena's passing. She was one of the first I "met" on these boards almost 5 years ago. What a strong, funny, & inspirational woman.

As I write through my tears about how profoundly sad this makes me I still can't help but feel that Mena had it all planned out with Patrick...I mean really....coincidence...? Hmmmm
Seriously, I think she would have thought it was majorly cool that they died on the same day.

I took a series of photographs this past summer as I went bicycling along..... the entire series is on my FB album. Here are the stats.
At the end of my cycling season I'd ridden 827 miles.
The cure has not been found.
We have lost our Mena.
We returned to civilization and regular responsibilities and wham......
right there in a parking lot I thought of Mena.

Urrrrrgggghhh! I just learned of another angel getting his wings. Mena will be missed by all. She was a great person. I hate this disease.
