    At the reunion this past weekend...my nephew brought his friend who is the championship "iron man" in the US.  He is quite built...lol  He put on a show for us and could not believe this man's strength.  He made me a heart out of a horseshoe and made a breast cancer symbol out of a piece of solid iron pipe... incredible!!!  What a neat heart this guy had...

    I look like a whale...lol but was shocked when he laid one right smack dab on my lips...lol  dh was too!!!

    He's with a group called the Conqueror's Strength team that travels in 22 countries and the US.  What a sweetie...

    My goodness sakes.

    Wake up to learn that Sharon has a bf and Arnie's kissing on the conquering hero of strength.

    This beach really is hopping.

    Where's Julz with all her beef-cake pictures, that would round out the morning. Actually I spoke with our Jewels-of-the-beach yesterday. Somehow my phone dialed hers, as I was unpacking it from my bike basket. LOL. Anyhow, she's in a marathon of work right now..... so we can all send her some keep-going vibes.

    Winding down around here. Must get the place ready for winter. Many end-of-the-season chores to attend to.

    Tonight's dinner with our buddies from our little condo association. They're all staying to see the fall colors. We've gotta goooooooooooo.

    P.S. Our little WB started his preschool education this morning. DD said he was soooooooo excited @ home, went sailing into the car, went skipping into the room and then when they left he was SCREAMING: "Mommy" loud enough that she could hear him in the parking lot. Can't wait for the report at noon. LOL.

    She's dangling "music-lady-visits" from me, as their incentive to be super sweet on him. How's that for an angle? More laughing. My daughter, the extortionist.

    Awwhh Faithie! Is this WB's very first year to be away from mommy? I'm anxious to hear about his day too! I bet it's as hard on mommy as it is WB. I'm sure he'll love it once he gets there. Mommy may leave crying though. Do I sound like I've had experience? Yep----cried like a baby when my baby started school---------for a whole week!

    I tried the Picasa thing, but it seems just as quick to download to photobucket huh? Does Picasa just have some extra benefits? Maybe I'm a bit slow in the photography areaUndecided

    Big hugs to all you beachies today. I think we're expecting rain for the next few days. We need it though. Our summers are so hot and humid. When we get rain, it sure helps the grass and flowers. Oh!!!! I've been seeing the sweet little humming birds out too. Guess that's a sign the season is changing.

    What about BFF (best friend forever) does that qualify in sorting out the boyfriends from the best friends?

    WB is my abbreviation for WonderBoy, our 3 year old grandson in OH. My DD reports that he came home in the same outfit that he went to school wearing (kept his big boy panties dry, in other words) and had the traditional painted set of hand prints picture for the refrigerator. She's counting the day as a big success.

    Awwwwwwww Faith...that's sooooo cute!   My little Trent starts preschool on the 14th.  His teacher visits each home individually to "get" to know the children before school starts.  He called me and he really likes her..."she's nice".  He got his lay-away out so now he has his BatMan backpack and new clothes...  so funny!

    How much longer before the wedding???  Have you decided what to wear yet?   I'm so glad I don't have any big functions coming up in the near future...what with my "annie lennox" hair and my weight gain...I don't know what I'd do...lol

    Welcome to the beach, KBug!! It's great to have you visit, hope that you'll pick up your welcome flip flops and stay for a long time to come.

    (I don't remember you're being on the beach before -- in any case, I'm pretty sure it's been a while since I've seen you. So enjoy the flips.)

    Must go and close up the place now. We hope to get away by noon. At Saint's about 5:00. At least that's our plan!!
