My precious sister was dx Oct 9, 2008.  Stage 3 invasive ductile breast cancer.  She is 34 with 3 small children under the age of 4.  She is precious and she is the best part of me.  On July 11th, she found she had mets to her liver and lungs.  Today she was told that her cancer is likely chemo resistant and VERY aggressive.  Does anyone have any idea where I can find a cure for her?  I know that is a very ridiculous and redundant question, but I love her so much and I know there is hope out there somewhere.  I am specifically thinking about cord blood or stem cells.  I would welcome and adore another little one with the added benefit of a hope for a cure.  I have 4 boys myself and I know that a new little one would be welcome.  Does anyone have any idea if this is even a viable option?  Thank you for helping me.

Hello there!  I'm just signing onto the site as I just happen to come across it. I don't know where your sister goes for her treatments or where your from, but my mom has stage 4 breast ca with mets to her liver and then over the years it metastasized to her brain, spine, hip and femur...but she is still her and she is getting the best help at BOSTON'S...

BETH ISRAEL DEACONESS MEDICAL CENTER ( BETH ISRAEL HOSPITAL & DEACONESS MERGED) or BIDMC for short.

They along with Dana Farber who are both associated with and work together with "HARVARD UNIVERSITY" have the latest cutting edge technology in Breast cancer research out there!

If you don't mind the travel .....and by the way, people from around the world go there ( from UK, Israel, India, China, Africa, Sudan, Jordan, Brazil, Chile etc) they have houses that Patient relations can set you up with that you share with others staying there for there loved ones getting treatments, or transplants etc.

    Good Luck and God Bless!!!
