Amber, thinking of you always.......You are such an inspiration to us all........
-
Amber--I am happy for you and your family sharing meaningful times together. I hope that more effective pain control will help you to have even more of those special times. I can only imagine how challenging it must be to hear your nurse talk of weeks when you want months, and how challenging it must be to work toward acceptance and peace while also hoping for more time with your loved ones. Thanks for sharing, and please remember how much caring support is being offered to you from so many of us. You will remain in my thoughts, and I will continue to hold hope for you having a good quality of life and as much time with your family as possible.
-
Amber. I am praying for you and so glad you were able to see your son.

Amber:
Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I am so glad that you were there to cheer for your son. These last minutes are so so precious. For you and for them.

Amber, It is so nice to hear from you, you are truly an angel, your grace and dignity inspires me so. Your honesty gives me such a new perspective on how to deal being a stage 4 patient. I pray for you that this journey to the heavins above will have the bells ringing and the angels singing upon us all. Thank you for being so strong, because of your strength you give me so much more. Amber. What a blessing you are to our community at large. What a hero. We take great pride in your decision & resolve to be there with your family. May they see the perfect timing of our Compassionate Creator over the time ahead.
What a joy for you to have witnessed the milestone of your son's run. What confidence it must give you to see him succeeding. You have prepared your children well for the race ahead of them.
Thank you for taking the time and energy to post to us. Your candor is such a gift.
We will continue to pray that your pain is managed well and that you are given every good gift during your remaining time here with us on Planet Earth. We trust deep in our hearts that you will make a superb guardian angel for your children, all of the days of their lives.
We know that when you make it to heaven you will join all of the committes that oversee breast cancer's progress toward the cure. You'll use your spunk to spice things up -- and we'll give the credit to your stirring the pot up there.
Know that we as a community will be available to your biological family to listen to their feelings and to offer a shoulder to cry on or a hand to hold, should they ever need one.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Praying that God blesses you with months. You posts are just so beautiful. I cry for you as I know you are so torn and I know you want to be there longer for your family. But you have made a courageous and peaceful decision to live out the rest of your life being able to to function and enjoy what you have left. I pray that you get your meds situated so that you are pain free. Thank you for sharing with us.
Keeping you close in heart in prayer and thoughts

New prayers for a new day.
I just learned that today is 09-09-09. I think that's just so lovely a thought.
Hope that it brings you a smile, Amber.
Prayers continue for your strength. I ask for miracles, too. I rejoice in the miracles around you -- like the cross country observation. That's a lovely miracle to witness.

Amber, I dont believe I have ever spoken with you, I have met so many in chat over the years and every person with a different story, some I was drawn to, others I struggled with their decisions, having said that, as I grew within, I learnt to listen and now feel blessed to be able accept every persons decision as just that, it is not my life and everyone is different. I have just experienced a close friend pass away with dignity and surrounded in love and in no pain, still mentally functioning to his fullest, and pray this for you Amber. Everyday with a person we love is a bonus and am sure you son will go through life being so much richer for having had you in his life. I wish you peace through your transition period, and hold you in my prayers.

Morning Amber.

Amber--thinking of you today. Wondering if you're able to venture outside. What's the weather like in your neck of the woods. I'm in the South, so it's pretty hot and humid. Sure hope you're able to enjoy a nice cool breeze and some beautiful sunshine for a while.

Amber I will never forget the first time that for some reason I looked at your blog. I was blown away by your beauty and the obvious love and happiness that beamed out of the photos of you and your family. I felt compelled to post that day and tell you how beautiful you were (and still are now).
I have never met you but you have touched my life. I just wanted to add my voice of love and support at this time.
There are six billion people on this planet and I sometimes ponder our individual impact. You Amber have proved the inifinite value of one life. The obvious joy and happiness you have brought to your family will be your permanent legacy.
I have no right to say this but I will always consider you a friend.
God bless you Amber.
-
Amber. I wanted you to know that I've been surrounding your story with prayer, through out the night. I had plenty of time on my hands -- so lifting up your story in prayer was a welcome opportunity.
Sandy's post above is written with such power and truth.
Your blog and it's pictures do capture the possibilities of this Earthly journey. Thank you for sharing your family, for sharing your faith and for sharing your decision-making process. It will illuminate others and is one little portion of your legacy here among us.
Strength for this day.
Strength for the moment at hand.
May you be blessed, as you have blessed others.
