How cold does it get in Carolinas kbugmom?
-
That's where I want to live, in the Carolinas. Always nice there!
It was 42 degrees when I got up this morning!! Yikes!
-
we can get chilly and sometimes down right cold. We even had snow in Jan. Seldom have a snow along the coast.
-
Good morning everybody
Dawn is MIA.
Foots is MIA
WHERE ARE YOU GIRLS?????????????????????????????????????????????????
Its a chilly day in NY.
Kbugmom... I googled Swan LAKE. Its further north of NY. About 80 miles from where I am.
-
Foots lives in the west.
I have never been to new york. Its only in 70s here today and very cloudy and breezy.
-
I need to make some chicken or red lentil soup. I smell winter already.
-
I was thinking the same thing today. Time to make some soup!
-
I am ready for a vacation!
-
Dee where would you go?
-
Lets remember those from 9/11 today
-
Remembering all the people we lost and their families.
Its a sad day for America.
I have 2 neighbors who lost their loved ones. One was 32 year old with very young children.
One was in her fifties.
9/11

-
We can all make a difference in the world.Lets start today in some way big or small.
-
Well said kbugmom.
-
I know many people out there never get a kind word or a smile. There of course some out there who are like give me give me. I want to help the truly down and out.
-
Jamaica mon
-
I try to help my neighbors when they needed.
I truly feel good if I can do something, anything.
Its a wonderful and peaceful feeling i get at the end.
-
I'm here. Sorry, yesterday was busy!!
-
I am a giver and not a taker. I am uncomfortable when others do for me. It is just my way.
-
kbug, if you feel like giving...I'll take some lasagna!! LOL!!
I never let anyone do things for me either, little Miss Independant. Wait till my next surgery, I won't get off the couch, my poor kids will have to get up & bring me the remote, I'll be lazy with both sides sore.
-
If you were here I would feed you.
-
I am also very independent. I remember first night of my lumpectomy, no pain but once i layed down i couldn't move , or get up , needed to go to the bathroom both children were living with me then i didn't even wake them up after 2 hours of struggling i did it. I cant handle pity and the word everybody uses <You poor thing> there is one thing i will admit if someone cooks for me that doesn't bother me at all. To me thats a very loving gesture.
Welcome back Dawn.
-
Hi Ladies,
Busy day today. Running errands for my kids and lunch with my parents. I hope you all had a nice day.
Linda
Keeping all thse lost in 9-11 in my heart today.
-
I will admit that even a peanut butter & jelly sandwich tastes better if someone else makes it.
It is odd if you think about it, but I have always found it to be true. Maybe because I have been the one making the dinners & cleaning up for so long, I appreciate a break?
Hi, Linda...I am going to attempt to cover some grey...shhhhhh, I am thinking red.
Hey! I'm feisty
-
Oh, I love red hair. My bff in my avatar has such a beautiful color red hair. She's the one with the glasses on, I'm the other one. Hope it works out well for you!
-
OH NO!!
It is REALLY red! Dark, but really red!
Good thing I do not live on Hollywood Blvd.
-
post a pic!
-
Dawn now a firey hot redhead. My grand said today grandma when you get your hair back you can go to sweet and sassy and get hair done. She will always light up my day.
-
I lost the internet and the phone line second time in a row today. Cable was down what a day this to happen. My mind went all over the place.
-
Do you think it's the weather? I think we live close enough to have the same weather. Wind and rain and it's cold too! I want summer!
I'm happy to hear you have the internet back.
-
I don't know. After i posted it happened again a third time.
The weather is the same today as yours. I want summer too. But this years summer was very weird. Rain all month in June, July was cool. August got humid. I didn't start using the AC until August.
Maybe i better say an early Goodnight. I don't trust this thing tonight.
If it works then its fine.
