    Mena is on morphine every 2 hours. She is getting weaker, but family say she still has alert times. She is still with us! We will keep checking-in, updating  & will send the newer posts to her family this week.

    I will be away again for the weekend but will return Sunday afternoon...I will be thinking of you Mena and am taking a candle to light for you on my little island :o)

    Saint, thank you so much for keeping us updated. 

    Mena you walked with me during my journey when I was first diagnosed.  Your attitude, humor and strength helped me more than you'll ever know. I remember all the hours we spent in chat and our visits on the phone.  May your day be painfree and peaceful.  Love you girl!

    I am praying for you and your family Mena.  I always love your wittiness and strength over the years.  Your words of inspiration,knowledge and of course humor has helped many of us over the years...

    I remember in chat many times in the middle of the night us chatting here at BC.org.  You doing the 3 day walk.

    I pray that your day be without pain and that all these post brings a smile to your face.

    Mena My mentor my sister that had taken me under her wing when my battle started! I WANT MY MOJO back!!!! I am thinking of u every day I want to send u my angels , my huggles ,my kisses..........Im going to that site u told me about iffin i can find it and light u an awsome candle ! i may need some help to find it again!!!!

    U tough tough girl U have made it through so many hurdles I pray to god he makes the pain easier!!

    Our latest report on mena this AM is that there is a marked change since yesterday. She is not responsive & is weak & sleeping.

    Mena there will be many bc sisters there to greet you . But most of all our Lord to give you the brand new body. No more fear,tears,pain,or bad reports. Will also recieve your crown. Thank you for being there for all the sisters here.

    Mena......I will miss you terribly but know that you are no longer in pain and with your step-daughter.  AlaskaDeb and CY as well as so many other sisters we have lost will be waiting for you.

    As of this AM Mena is much weaker & her family is trying hard to keep her comfortable. Her body is showing signs of deterioration. Pray for comfort & peace for all of them.

    Also, pray for Arpy who has been tag-team calling Mena on alternating days with me. They were close & she is having a hard time with this. She & Mena spent hours on the phone & many occassiions together over the last 5 years as they live an easy distance from each other. Mena has tons of friends from this site--we will all need to support each other.
