INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA Best Breast Reconstruction surgeon!
For anyone in Indianapolis looking for a PS for your breast reconstruction... PLEASE make an appointment with DR. CHRISTINE KELLEY at Meridian Plastic Surgery Center, 317-575-0330. She is the BEST! She will take such good care of you...she is an amazing, caring, compassionate, and meticulous plastic surgeon! In December 2009 I had a left mastectomy, TE placement on the left & augmentation of my rt natural breast w/ silicone implant. This was done by a different PS from Columbus, IN. My exchange surgery was in April of this year. I was never happy with the outcome... bumps, corners, wrinkles, & odd shape on the mast side, and development of capsular contracture on the right (non-mast side). Thanks to the lead of a good friend, I went to see Dr. Kelley. I am SO GLAD I did. She re-did everything (insurance paying for it all due to the contracture)...new anatomical implants on both sides... she is a perfectionist...symmetry is fabulous...shape is wonderful... they look GREAT...and I am only one week out from surgery. She doesn't advertise, because she doesn't feel good about marketing medical procedures which just adds to my respect for her. She totally cares about the outcome YOU want and does her best to see that you get it. PLEASE...if she is in-network with your insurance...CHECK HER OUT...I promise you won't be disappointed!!

By the way, if anyone here in Indianapolis would like to contact me personally to talk more about my experience with this whole process, please send me a private message. I'd be more than happy to share more.

Janet Turkel is the best in my opinion if you need to go through St Vincents Hospital. What hospital does your surgeon operate out of?
-
I just found her she is with Bruce Vanetta. He used to be with Turkle many years ago. I haven't heard of her and I have been a nurse for St Vincents for 18 years. She must be new. It is nice to have a surgeon you can trust isn't it? I was so happy with my plastic and breast surgeon. I had a wonderful experience and feel very blessed! I will spread the word around here that she is also good.

Yes, Dr. Kelley is with Meridian Plastic Surgeons on 106th & Meridian. She is not new...she's been doing it for 16 years. I had my surgery at St. Vincents...and all the nurses who took care of me said Dr. Kelley is who they would want if they ever had to have any breast reconstructive surgery. Yes, spread the word! She's really wonderful and it is so great to have a surgeon you can trust. I originally thought of going to Dr. Turkle, but she wasn't covered by my insurance. I'm glad you also had a good experience. Take care!

I am an ICU nurse and we don't see allot of plastic surgery pts they usually are not admitted and hopefully don't end up in ICU. I had a nipple sparing and most of my great results I owe to my breast surgeon.

I have to put my 2 cents in....I have been seeing Dr. Sadove out of Meridan Plastic Surgeons and as far as I'm concerned he is an amazing Dr as well as person. He seems to take you process personal and really cares!! For going through such a crazy thing it is nice to have something to look forward to. All of my Dr.'s are out of Clarian North, and if anyone has any questions PLEASE ask me!! I am not a fan of trusting, but this is the first time I have ever felt so comfortable with my dr's!!

Thomas Jackson is the PS from Columbus
-
That's who I'm seeing now--he came well recommended. Sigh.....it's so difficult to know what is or who is best.

I'm looking for a breast surgeon in Indianapolis who will do a Nipple sparing Mastectomy. My current surgeon will not do one.
-
twinsis....thank u I am so confused right now. I am looking to possibly do a prophylactic mastectomy. My surgeon in greenwood is dr lottich. I've heard she's good. She wants to remove the 5 polyps and area of Lcis a total opposite opinion my IU surgeon said to do which was nothing. Dr lottich uses dr jackson from Columbus. I haven't met him. But hearing what u went through worries me. Problem is if she removes the breast tissue I don't think dr kelley goes to greenwood and I don't think I can handle waking up to a mutilated chest waiting to go somewhere else for the reconstruction. I am so confused. And this may be cancer after its removed and another path report done. Who knows. Thank u for your I'm put.
