    the bungelos are just what dr ordered! Just up from my nap...off the Rutgers first football game..this is first time I am going as a Rutgers MOM Smile, not wife of crazy alum Tongue out.

    Julz- hope its not a crazy night for you...just enough to keep it interesting, not enough to overwhelm...

    I am starting to think of our trip to Maui in late January ... first trip with no children..just us two

    I made it back: safe & sound -- all in the same day!!

    I just rode my bicycle for a total of 52 miles today..... in honor of being fifty-two years old. I am just tickled 'pink' with myself for this little accomplishment. My previous record holder was two summers ago, when I was fifty, I rode a fifty mile day. You do the math -- the older I get, the more I have to ride. LOL.

    DH is off on an ALL day golf adventure, so I had all the time in the world to accomplish it.

    Coonie. It's still a HUGE headache to get from Picassa to here. I'll be interested to hear if Lisa has any shortcuts. What I do:

    1. email the pictures from Picassa to my email address

    2. upload pics from my email to a folder on my desktop

    3. upload pics over to Photobucket

    Then use the little green tree above, as always.

    FYI: When I load my pics from picasa to my blog, they go 'direct.' Once they are on my blog I can then just right click on the pic and bring it straight here -- without going thru Photobucket.

    (That's why I keep posting the pics here from my blog, it's just sooooooooo much easier. LOL)

    Hope that this makes sense. At some point you'd think they'd streamline it. I can't believe that Picasa does NOT have an interface with Facebook. I go thru the same gazillion steps when I want to put a pic there.

    Sharon...... did it feel like a holiday to you?? We love our l-o-n-g weekends here in the states.

    Arnie. I bet you're having a very hard time saying good by to everyone. I bet your weather was gorgous.... we've had an amazing weekend of weather & I think you're just on the flip side of the lake. So I kept blowing it over to  you.

    Elaine. HAWAII?????? Just the two of you???? Have you been keeping this a secret??? We need to start packing, so that we can join you!!!

    Footie. Did you get your young-twinsie-baby-muscle-boy all sorted out?? I hope that he helped you make LOTS of lemonade this weekend.

    Dream. I guess you're wondering about all the fuss over our holiday, too, aren't ya?

    Lisa. It's about time for another one of your brilliant photos.

    Mum. I just realized that we have 3 'official Canadians' here at the beach now, four if we count Barbe who pops in every now & again.

    Yeahhhhh Beachy Faith!!!!....But when it's time to retire the current one....

    I think you should trade it in on one of these!!!!  I could see you tricking it out in Your Faithy Style!!! 

    As for those bugalow's....They just seemed so Peaceful to me.....The Mind could Drift for Days.....

    Ohhhhh Elaine....How Wonderful for You & DH.....Of Course We do Want to Come Along with you.....But This is An Adult WithOUT the Children Tagging Along Outing.....So we WILL have to behave ourselves......& stay home this time around......BUT We could Help you PACK........Sounds like this could be a Second HoneyMoon to ME!     yeah- its kind of a business trip for part of the time..thats ok because it gives me time for spa, beach, pool side, naps etc. I'm sure I will need help packing....lets see a bathing suit, ummm what else?

    EWB - please let us know when we need to have our bags packed too!! Remember, we are all in this thing together. LOL. I really have to hunt up #32 again. My computer had to be rebooted and I had ole #32 saved in favorites. Now I can't find her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Cry It's like I've lost my best friend!

    9.9.09 -- Faithie, those numbers HAVE to do something for you! Your challenges about walking have me feeling guilty. I haven't stuck with it like I should. So I'm marking today (9.9.09) as my new start date. I'll give you a progress report later...hehe. Thanks for the push!

    Has anybody seen Arnie? Did she come back from the reunion yet? ARNIE!!!!!!! come back. We miss you!!! We want pics please.

    Oh Coonie. Thank heavens you've pointed out the obvious!!

    I have had no connection to a calender this summer & I seriously would have missed the whole event. 9-9-09!!!! That calls for a party on the beach!!!

    I'm gonna keep after ya, about your walking program. Remember, we're meetin' up in January & I want you in your bestest shape for our photo op! LOL. You'll have to show me the sights.

    Elaine. Just how do you manage to have a business trip to Hawaii?? I'd like to sign up for one of those at your earliest convenience.

    Julz. Surely your guys are back in school now? Right? Doesn't that give ya more time for us????

    Good morning beachettes.... I'm here!  lol  We got back late Monday night...had a glorius time!!!  Then had my last chemo yesterday!!!!  YEAH!!!   Felt kind of funky after chemo so slept alot.  Still not feeling great but "doable".    Hope you all had a wonderful weekend !   I haven't read back yet so will need to catch up.  Hope everyone is doing well!

    Thank you, thank you ladies!!!  This is Arnie...lol    Had to use my dh's membership since I'm still limited to 5 posts...ugh!  Yes, just getting ready to go take a nap and came in to see the celebration in my honor!!!

    You all have gotten me through this "leg" of the journey and just want you all to know how much I love and appreciate you all!!!

    Faithie my friend---you've motivated me to walk about 2.5 miles today. Now I know it's not 52 miles, but it sure felt good to get those two in. It's a start (again) right?

    Hope you're enjoying the last few days in lalaland. I know you've (we've) had a wonderful summer with you.......LOL. I'm gonna miss the bike rides and beautiful pics you take along the way. Guess you'll just have to find something else to take pics of. (((((((hugs to you)))))))

    I rode nine miles and then rode nine miles and then rode another nine miles!!

    I was just intending to ride 18 today -- to hit the 800 mile marker.....

    but decided I needed to add the final 9

    in honor of our 09-09-09 party!!

    Faith.....9-9-09!!!! You did it!!!! The Boys are back in School!!!!! Some Times I am not Sure which Way I am Running these Days!!!!! Soccer, Football, & Work!!!! I don't seem to be getting any Extra time with them back in School right now!!!! I have not hit my groove yet!

    Had our final dinner out with the golfing crew. Fun times. Hard to believe the summer's really gone. We've had the nicest/warmest week of the entire summer --- over the past several days.

    Arnie, I am so excited and happy for you.  Isn't it wonderful to be done with chemo, as time goes by you will feel better and better.

    Oh gosh Mum.  That pic brings tears to my eyes.  My bf lives about half an hour from there.  There is a post office in that light house and the postmistress comes from the same village as my dh.

    Edit to add.........YIKES by bf I meant best friend but thought it might be mistaken for boy friend which could be one in the same but I doubt my dh would be pleased.  Embarassed
