I am hoping to find someone from MA to get to know over coffee or dinner or talk to on the telephone regarding our shared condition. This is a lonely situation, and I am the type of person who takes great comfort in friendship and support. I would like to think that I am good at giving also. Thanks for the reply - but I think this refers to the first poster at the very top. A local support group sounds actually like a good idea.

I do not live in MA myself, though maybe I should! (Cape cod sounds wonderful).

I live in southern NH, right on the Ma border. Where in Ma do you live? I have Stage IV mets and currently take Xeloda. Side effects seem to like me - I have had more than my share! I attend a wonderful support group in my city as well.
