    Hugs & apologies for not getting here sooner.  I am totally convinced prayer is keeping me strong!!! I am sure prayer is the reason I have felt better in the last 2 days than I have in MONTHS!!!The big dog docs did not really have any answers. They said-it is "unusual" & they believe it can't actually BE dx'd....by process of elimination they decided it IS tumor related. Bottom line is that they believe I need to be more aggressive with chemo. The very pregnant & sweet breast specialist agreed that changing my xeloda from every other week & 2 weeks on 1 off is a logical attempt, but I will only do this for 2-3 rounds. If it does not work I will have no other choice but to go to another chemo ...and GO BALD!!!!!   I may be a big baby, but THAT is a huge part of QOL for me & I was having a bad time processing all she told me (naturally there is no bright future for me!!) BUT I woke up Fri feeling happy-not depressed as I expected & I believe it is due to all the increased prayer! THANK YOU!

    I will keep you all posted & appreciate your continued dinging at the Big Guy upstairs!!!  Hugs-be well & stay strong

    Saint you are loved and we are keeping you in prayer. It bites when we keep getting bumped down. But we get up and move ahead. I am glad you still have a fighting spirit. Hey and if you go bald again later you will stll be beautiful. I have been bald all year mostly. Now starting to get my grey stubble coming in a lil more. My grand said no dark stubble just grey. Oh well I earned em. lol Glad to see a post from you . Love and blessings to you.

    It's Monday. I just got off the phone with saint.

    She's had a couple of really good feelin' days (Fri & Sat were her best since June) and yesterday and today were "ok."

    She says that she's been so inactive for so long, that now when she was feeling better she did get tired from attempting to do "more" than she was used to..... ah, balance, grasshopper.

    We are making plans to swing thru their house on Sat of this week & stay in their bed & breakfast inn...... for our annual salmon grill out extravaganza...... on our way back east.

    It will be great to get together. Their college boy/man/kiddo will be home for the weekend as well, so we're all psyched to see him & hear of his first weeks on campus.

    Keep those prayers coming, they're holding her up!!

    HI Saint,

    It has been awhile.  I see that Faith will be visiting you this weekend.  That will be wonderful for you both.  Wish I lived closer, I would be crashing your weekend and spending some great time w/ two wonderful friends. 

    Just wondering when you are starting the aggressive chemo?  I hope it does not make you feel worse than you have been feeling.

    I have a busy fall this year.  This weekend dh and I are heading to CT to visit his daughter at college.   Boy, is this going to be one expensive weekend.  Her boyfriends parents are coming to meet us over the weekend and we are going to have dinner at the Mohegan Sun Casino (not cheap). Oh and we can not forget the shopping trip to BJ's, to stock her up for the semster w/ food, water and other additional items.  Then I leave for Los Wages, did I really say that.  I mean Las Vegas to meet the TA TA Sisterhood.  Can't wait.  I am taking my mother w/ me because she is a fantastic support to me during my BC journey. Then dh and I will be going to Hawaii in October.  This is my 50th birthday present, yea I am getting older.

    Enough of me.  You are in my prayers.  I hope you will be feeling better and that the chemo treatments cure you from having continued transfusions.  Stay well.

    Saint, sorry I have been away...I forgot how tough it was to go back to work after so long......Keeping you in my prayers and praying for your continued improvemnet in energy....I just want ot say, Saint, whether you are bald or not you are one beautiful lady inside and out.....You have been a continued source of inspiration and courage to me.....From Day1 of my coming to this board you have been a friend and welcomed me with open arms.....I love you as my own sister and worry about you as if you were my sister.....You will always be in my thoughts and prayers........

    Turning my attention toward the 'work' that awaits -- out east.

    LOL. Ohio is east of Wisconsin. More laughing.

    Then it's "The Saint & Faith Festival of Salmon & Laughter."

    What a hoot.

    I am currently transfusing AGAIN!! Seems more likely this tx will have to change.......I USED to be the one who told newbies in chat--"It's just hair-it comes back!" After being bald twice (second time for a year & a half) I no longer say that--especially since it seems I could be bald for the rest of time...oh well--no more chin hairs dh & I can't see to pluck!!!!!!!   LOLOL

    Keep those prayers going up for F&F's safe travel!!!! HUGS
