Lifesong by Casting Crowns
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaia32TsPq0&feature=related
Empty Hands held high
Such Small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight
May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to you
Chorus:
Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
I want to sign your name
to the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let my lifesong sing to You
LORD, I give my life
A Living sacrifice
To reach a world in need
To be your hands and feet
So may the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You
Chorus
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Let my lifesong sing to You (x3)
Chorus (x2) -
They'll Know we are Christains...
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
And we pray that all unity may one day be restored
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
They will know we are Christians by our loveWe will work with each other, we will work side by side
We will work with each other, we will work side by side
And we'll guard each one's dignity and save each one's pride
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
They will know we are Christians by our loveBy our love, by our love
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
They will know we are Christians by our loveWe will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand
We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand
And together we'll spread the news that God is in our land
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
They will know we are Christians by our loveBy our love, by our love
And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
They will know we are Christians by our loveLove is patient, love is kind
Never boasts, not full of pride
Always hopes, always trusts
The evidence of Christ in us -
I have an MRI tommorrow and this song is keeping me in peace.
Phil Stacey - You're Not Shaken
From the album Into The LightI am sinking in a river that is raging
I am drowning, will I ever rise to breathe again
I want to know why I just want to understand
Will I ever know why
How could this be from Your hand
When every little thing that I have dreamed would be
Just slips away like water through my hand
And when it seems the walls of my belief are crashing down
Like they're all made of sand
I won't let go of You now, because I know You're not shaken
I'm trembling in the darkness of my own fear
All the questions with no answers still grip me while
I'm here And I may never know why I may not understand
But I will lift up my eyes And trust this is Your plan
When I am in the valley of the shadow of death
You're not shaken, You're not shaken
You're right here beside me and
You have never left
You're not shaken, You're not shakenLabel: Reunion Records

Be still my soul
the melody is gorgeous - they lyrics are the best of any hymn. (there are several sets of lyrics for this hymn tune) - It's based on the theme of a symphony written by Sibelius and is now the national anthem of Finland - Finlandia.. they lyrics are different but equally gorgeous.
i am a church musician.. I love How Great thou Art... such a lovely hymn.
listen on You Tube and the lyrics below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFV7E58wtRo
"Be Still, My Soul"
1. Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul; thy best, thy heavenly, Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.2. Be still, my soul; thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.3. Be still, my soul, though dearest friends depart
And all is darkened in the vale of tears;
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.
Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay
From His own fulness all He takes away.4. Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last. -

Another song that I like is I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1onzCUJxzw
I believe in a hill called mount calvary
I believe whatever the cost
And when time has surrendered
And earth is no more
I'll still cling to the old rugged cross
I believe that this life with it's great mysteries
Surely someday will come to an end
But faith will conquer the darkness and death
And will lead at last to my friend
I believe that the Christ
Who was slain on the cross
Has the power to change lives today
For He changed me completely
A new life is mine
And that is why by the cross
I will stay
I believe in a hill called mount calvary
I believe whatever the cost
And when time has surrendered
And earth is no more
I'll still cling to the old rugged cross -
Just a closer walk with thee.
-
Come to the River
-
There will be peace in the valley for me.
-
Me too, I hope.
-
Here I am, Lord
I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin
My hand will save.
I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.
I, the Lord of snow and rain,
I have borne my people's pain.
I have wept for love of them.
They turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone,
Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak my Word to them.
Whom shall I send?
I the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them.
My hand will save.
Finest bread I will provide
Till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give my life to them.
Whom shall I send?
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart. -
http://www.tangle.com/view_video?viewkey=022c64ef8a1a1a91cee2 Chris Rice Your Praise Goes On...love that song!!!
The moon is high and the sunset fades
The lullabies have all been sung
We're tuckin' in another day
And stars appear now one by one
But the stillness moves and the silence yields
And not a single beat is lost
You can hear the chorus in the fields Taking up where we left off
And Your praise goes on, rising to Your throne
Where You guard us while we dream
Past the stars they fly, Your praises fill the sky
‘Til You wake us with the dawn
And Your praise goes onNow bring your warmth, O morning sun
Chase the stars and the moon away
And wake us with your brightest song
And add our voice to your refrain
Now rise up everything that lives!
Flap your wings and leap for joy!
Oh forest lift your arms and sway!
Clap your hands you ocean waves! And Your praise goes on, rising to Your throne
Where You bless our toil and play
Through the clouds they rise, Your praises fill the skies
‘Til the setting of the sun
And Your praise goes on
And when my final breath You lend
I'll thank You for the life You gave
But that won't mean the praises end
‘Cause I won't be silenced by the grave! And Your praise goes on
I'll be runnin' to Your throne
With every nation, tribe and tongue
To Your arms I'll fly
I'll gaze into Your eyes
Then I'll know as I am known
And Your praise goes on
And Your praise goes on
And Your praise goes on -
Jesus Christ is Risen Today..........
Jesus Christ is ris'n today Alleluia
Our triumphant holy day Alleluia
Who did once upon the Cross Alleluia
Suffer to redeem our loss Alleluia
Hymns of praise then let us sing Alleluia
Unto Christ our heav'nly King Alleluia
Who endured the Cross and grave Alleluia
Sinners to redeem and save Alleluia
But the pains which He endured Alleluia
Our salvation have secured Alleluia
Now above the sky he's King Alleluia
Where the angels ever sing Alleluia -
I love those songs, I have been humming a Sandi Patty all day
Sing Your praise to the Lord, Come on everybody
Sing your praise to the Lord, Stand up and sing.
I cant think of all the words. does anyone know this one.
Thanks

Who Am I lyrics ( Casting Crowns)
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours -
