Need fundraiser ideas-

I am a 2 1/2 year IDC survivor and participated in my first Relay for life this year both in walking and some fundraising.  Our team is starting to brainstorm ideas for fundraising for next year.  I really want to help my team with ideas and would enjoy hearing good inexpensive ideas for fundraisers that work well.  Post here or e-mail me at sflow@earthlink.net.  Thanks so much!

    Recently, a local woman created a bake-off competition.  She got a bakery to sponsor it and local chefs to judge the entries.  The winning entries were auctioned off.  It got good publicity and she raised over 2800.00.

    A local realtor sponsors a yearly HUGE parking lot sale.  She collects donations throughout the year.  People have food booths and the proceeds go to RFL.  This year the sale raised more than 5000.00 net.

    Local eateries allow groups to have a sponsored night where a portion of the day's drawer goes to the charity.

    One local RFL team made a double size quilt from previous years' shirts and raffled it off.  Another team has an awesome salsa that they jar and sell.

    Creativity is the key.  Good luck!
