Axilla Ultrasound

I'm wondering how many of you had ultrasounds of your axilla nodes and were told you had POSITIVE nodes from the ultrasound.    I had an ultrasound of my axilla nodes and the Radiologist and the lady doing the ultrasound said everything looked good.   I asked both of them that if the cancer had spread to the axilla nodes would they be able to recognize it and they both said a resounding yes.   They said they can't rule out microscopic cells but I feel confident in what they told me.

That has me wondering how many people were told they had positive nodes based on an ultrasound of their axilla nodes ONLY?    I'll be having neoadjuvant chemo and THEN bilateral mastectomies where the real pathologyw will come in but I'm just interested to know what ya'll heard about ultrasounds of axilla nodes.

I had u/s of node under my arm that the dr felt during a physical exam. While the radiologist can't pronounce it to be positive or negative, she did classify it as BiRad 5 -- the worst rating. I had a biopsy of the node and it came back as positive for BC. Following that I had BM and full node dissection on that side.
