I just got my first TCH treatment on Friday, but I have been so dizzy today.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Which part of the TCH is causing the dizziness?  I am not naseous, just dizzy. I haven't taken any other medications since yesterday so I think it must be the TCH.

I start my first TCH in one hour. I'll let you know if this happpens to me. I've heard this is one of the side effects. As you become more anemic/lower WBC it could be the first side effect. Are you short of breath at all?

Hi, I am now on Day 6 of TCH, and finally not experiencing the dizziness.    I still would love to know if anyone else had dizziness, and/or what they think it might be from.  It was quite bothersome, as I felt like the room was almost spinning at times.

Carcharm, No, I am not out of breath.

I finished my 6 rounds of TCH 7 weeks ago, and I was extremely dizzy the first week after each treatment. Whenever I watched tv or got on the computer, it got worse. I think that it is a side effect of the 3 drugs. I am on herceptin only now and experience just a little bit of the dizziness, but nothing like when I had all 3 drugs.

You are right--working on the computer made it way worse!  I am glad I'm not the only one experiencing it, but sad to know it probably won't be going away anytime soon.  Darn.  Did you find that any of the anti-nausea pills helped it any?

I was dizzy the first day but thought it was from the benadryl. Also, did anyone get aloxi (sorry not sure if that is the correct spelling) - a long acting antiemetic that acts like emend but is used with TCH? I don't get sick to my stomach but if I eat spicy food I get the worst pain behind my sternum and the only releif is to throw up. It's weird cause it's not like I ever get sick to my stomach it's just the pain/heartburn that I get but it almost feels like a heart attack. I think it's how the aloxi is working to block brain signals. Anyone else with this?
