Free to Good Home (or not)
Free to Good Home (or not so good home)
One slightly used husband. Employed in a secure job with great benefits. However, will not work at home. Housebroken, but does not know how to replace the toilet paper. Capable of showering himself, but can't put dirty clothes in the hamper. Is able to do laundry, but does not sort or fold. Good cook, but won't go to grocery store and not very thrifty. Excellent e-bayer. Loads dishwasher, but won't unload. Can spot the headlight to a 32 Ford a mile away but can't see a dirty floor beneath his feet. Messy and unorganized. Not very communicative unless talking about old cars or motorcycles. Will consider trade for teenager, goat or pot-bellied pig.

-
have you considered renting him or a possible trade?
-
Apple - I'd trade him for a goat, at least a goat would keep the lawn cut short.
-
That is too funny! After I read this out loud my SO said "is that me?"
-
I didn't know you were married to my husband!!......

A good laugh indeed!
-
Nah, I don't think so...Hey wait...He can load a dishwasher?!!!!
-
Update - I'm still looking for any takers! Now he complains because he feeds the dogs 60% of the time, my shoes are in front of the dryer and I fall asleep in my chair in the evenings because I'm tired. Thinks the house should be cleaner and I should be doing more!
ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T WANT HIM?!?!?!
-
Jane ... while trolling the boards I came upon this thread ... gave me a laugh. Your description is priceless. While I am not married, there are plenty of male relatives that are your DH's clones.
-
Jane, you must be pretty desperate if you're willing to trade him for a TEENAGER. I have 2 of those. Don't ask.

-
I'm single. I'll take him.
-
Sweatyspice - He didn't even get me a Valentine's Day Card - but the day's not over yet....
And I've raised 4 teenagers,..my baby just turned 20.
-
Well, Jane, if you've raised 4 teens you sure know what you're willing to trade for!.
I don't say I've raised 4 teens (the ones over 20 now). I've survived life with them, as I'll survive the 2 who are left. Then I will await the wonderful days when my GRANDCHILDREN become teenagers.
heh...heh...heh

I got a bathroom scale from my DH as a Valentine's gift a couple of years ago. Trying to tell me something, I guess.
