I had never heard of lobular either. No one felt anything in my breast.....2 docs (1 surgeon and 1 GP) felt and said it was clear. Three months earlier a third doc (med onc) gave me an all clear. Radiologist told me my mammogram was easy to read and definitely clear. It is frightening that we put so much faith into mammograms when 15% of bcs are lobular and don't generally show on mammograms until very far advanced. In my case by the time of surgery it was already 2.2 cm and 4 lymph nodes. I'm still angry. .......and it also did NOT show on the ultrasound!!!

No lumps, only some sharp pain occasionally. Mammogram and ultrasound negative.

I  too had night sweats and my hair was falling out. I went to a doctor and he checked my testosterone level. In fact, it was estrogen dominance I should have been worried about. Right before I was diagnosed I had a low grade temp and my blood pressure shot up. I didn't know enough to put two and two together.

    Oh Cherine,

It is so good to hear from you!  I have been looking for any posts from you.  Thank you for letting us know how you are doing.  I am so thankful that surgery went well and that you have had your drains out.  That is such a relief.  Please let us know what the oncologist says.  I start chemo on the 10th so if you have to do that I will let you know how it is.

I hope all is well, and you have peaceful, healing days and restful nights.  Take care!

    Gentle Hugs,

    Susan
