peeing more on Herceptin?

Fed up with this - having to pee up to 5 times a night.  Even then my bladder still feels irritated all the time.  I don't have an infection.

Not sure if caused by Herceptin which I have had one session of, or delayed chemo damage. Doc is sending me for an ultra sound of pelvis.  Any ideas please?

    I always pee more the first few days after herceptin.  I noticed it from the begining.  Lasts for around a week :)

    During chemo I had frequency at bedtime; sometimes I would get up 5 or 6 times before going to sleep.  I finally changed bath soaps (from Irish Spring or Dial to Ivory or Dove unscented).  I no longer have the problem.  I think the harsh soaps were irritating.

    I am glad you posted this, I thought I was crazy! I have been getting up every couple of hours at night too, I have hot flashes that wake me, but I always go to the bathroom when I get up to cool off and I pee a lot each time.My doctor has checked me for everything under the sun and never thought it might be the herceptin.     pandazanker - pelvic ultrasound showed OK so it must be Herceptin.  Not had much response to this post though so it can't be very common.

    I don't drink after 6pm, but still have to get out a lot.  Not looking forward to having to keep getting up in the cold winter Frown

    I hope it's not damaging the bladder!
