send Mena your love.......
For those of you who frequented the chat room 5 years ago, you couldn't help but remember our own inimitable mena! Boards sisters can't help but know her by her Mojo thread! Few ppl have as quick a wit or strong a shoulder.
Life has handed her a lot of ca-ca over the last few years, not the least of which is multiple mets. She has decided to forego any further chemo tx (she is the QUEEN of chemo--I don't think there is one she hasn't tried!) She is in palliative care & currently experiencing a pain management issue with her liver. She could use our prayers, good vibes, support & well wishes. If you care to post them on this thread we will be sure she gets to see them. I am praying that some answers are found to make her comfortable. I so enjoy hearing her LOL!!
Lord, please grant many more chuckles to Mena, our friend!
Hugs--be well & stay strong

not sure if you will remember me - we met a few years ago with some other Jersey girls at a restaurant in Edison. Remember you had a hard time finding the place and I talked you thru it over the phone?
I was in the middle of my journey then and you gave me such hope that day.
I just wanted to thank you and pray you have better days ahead.
