Help for dry mouth! Yay!

Options

Hey everybody!  My dentist just gave me a new product called MI Paste for my horribly sensitive teeth.  (which, btw, seems to be working fantastic).

I was just reading the info, and there is also a product called GC Dry Mouth Gel.  They specifically mention that they intend to help people going through radiation or chemo.

The website is www.mi-paste.com

I had such awful dry mouth while on chemo, so I wanted to share a possible new resource!

Love and prayers, Deb

Deb: my dentist just gave me MI paste for sensitive teeth - it's the most wonderful thing EVER! I was told just to take a little on my finger and rub over my teeth after brushing, and not rinse. The tube cost me $15, but till last a long time! I LOVE it!

    Deb:

My dentist gave me some of this last week since I am starting chemo next week.  When do I start using it?  The day I start chemo - every single day or just when the symptons appear?

Deb, does it give you relief for dry mouth? My mouth is painfully dry, and I'm using a prescription mouthwash plus Biotene mouth wash and toothpaste.

    Hi Deb,

Thanks for the great resource. I also sufferd from dry mouth while going through chemo treatment. I am currently a survivor and was a caregiver to my father who battled colon cancer. Miessence is also a great organic mouthwash that is also toxin free. I did a post on my blog, www.cincovidas.com, that deals with ways to get some relief from dry mouth by using natural and toxin free products http://blog.cincovidas.com/side-effect-dry-mouth%E2%80%94get-some-welcome-relief-with-these-few-tips .
I hope this can also be a resource to those suffering from this side effect.
    Love, strength and survival,
    Britta

Hi ladies, I am so very sorry I missed/lost this thread!  I did not mean to ignore everybody-I apologize.

How is everybody's dry mouth doing now (months later...grimace....)?
