Awwwww Linda you did it!!! It's beautiful too!! I'll be there real soon!
As soon as #32 picks me up. I'm patiently waiting -
Coonie, I cut and pasted them from the internet. I still can post pics I take.....
#32........WHERE ARE YOU?????????????
-
Hey Linda............I've rescued #32.........pulled her up by the anchors. But I can't seem to post it here on the Escape thread so I'm gonna haul her over to the beach and see if we can launch her there. follow me.
-
I just saw the photos of the cape. Can I join you guys? I will bring the vino.
-
Is this going to be enough?
-
Yeah Mum...Sharon's got the #32 duck out and she's gonna pick us up. Just wait, she'll swing by and get ya:)
-
Hey Sharon,
The Onc decided today that he didn't like my cough either --- I had a chest x-ray... hopefully I will have the results tomorrow and there are no other issues.
waiting.... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting.... waiting.... waiting.... waiting....
-
Whooooo better tell Sharon to bring along a trailer pull behind the duck
-
so... it is off to the cape we all go
wouldn't that be alot of fun!
-
waiting waiting waiting with you Checkum. Does he think it could be from out in the weather and maybe pneumonia or something?
-
Ohhhhhhhhh Checkum... (((((((hugs)))))))))))) I hate waiting!!!
Ok... all packed...
I can't wait to ride on #32....and I love vino!!! Look out Linda here we come!!!
-
WEll Mum.....you might as well give me all those bottles, 'cause I get nervous when I'm having to wait...............so pass 'em over, won't ya??
-
No I have had it for a while... they tried giving me zantac (thinking it might be caused by acid reflux) .. but that has not helped. So, he wanted to be cautious and do the x-ray just to cover all the bases
-
Looks like we have enough booze... then again you need alot on the cape LOL
-
Can I bring anything else.Checkum what do you need to help you feel better?
-
Anyone with a hangover??? lol
Hope everyone has a great escape today... I would like to..hmmmmm
-
Checkum how are you this morning? I suggest you stay in bed this weekend.
-
Thinking of you today Checkum!! Let us know what the doc says, ok?
Maybe that's what's wrong with me too. I've had a cough since I finished chemo. But I've had about 3-xrays before surgeries, etc., and nobody said anything. I take two Zyrtec each day. I'm thinking it's this humid climate I live in. I'd love to get a doctor's excuse to move to the coast. I'm sure I'd feel MUCH better there.
Hope all of you escapees have a wondermous day!!!
-
Hey Checkum, I´m joyning the waiting with you, woudn´t that be realistic to say that the more girls waiting the shorter the wait? At least I like to think so ;o) Hope you are feeling better and that you are taking good care.
-
By the way, what does #32 stand for?
-
Idun....I'll be glad to explain #32 for you. Quite a few months ago, one of our sisters on the Beach thread was going to Hawaii with her family. Well, we all invited ourselves to go, but our sister Sharon doesn't like to fly. So we researched ways to get to Hawaii without an airplane. And up popped the pink swan or "duck" is what we like to call her. So now, everytime there is a trip with our sisters, we pull out #32
Our sister from the beach was Michelle (Toyful) who passed away a short time after her trip to Hawaii with her family. We were soooooooo glad she was able to make that trip. She was so young and beautiful with a beautiful family too.
Well, #32 didn't have a captain, so KAK, who is great at photocropping, etc. took a picture of Sharon and placed her at the wheel of #32!!!! That makes Sharon the Captain of #32. Sharon has threatened to drown her, but I know she won't.
Does any of this make sense? Hope I explained it so you would understand. #32 is very special to us........well, SOME of us........hehe LOL. Sharon says she wants to sink her, but I know deep down in her heart she LOVES that duck!!
-
Awwwww, what a beautyful thing! And what great friends you are! It seems to me that in your company everything is possible! Thank you Coonie for sharing that beautyful story behind #32. I bet you all had a special place in Sharons heart.
Hugs!
-
Hey Checkum, I hope all is well with the xray. I too developed a cough following rads. Had xray, all appears ok. Hope you are the same. Now on bp meds one of which causes a cough. Sheesh. Any way, good luck, hope you hear today.
-
Hello Idun...........they make fun of me and that darned duck!!! (It's all in fun
) I keep threatening to sink her. The picture thing of me in the duck really was funny though. I'm sure Coonie spit her morning coffee all over the puter screen that day when she first saw it.
-
