I know how you feel, it is so hard when your friends get this awful monster called cancer, my best friend all the way from grade school has it in her liver and bones and is on 3 different chemos in a trial test. Debbie will have lots of prayers surrounding her Wednesday night about 7:30pm.
How did your party go? Everyone have a good time to remember?
Hope all is well with everyone and Sierra Canada has been making the news here is the US with no sanitation pick up and the rats overrunning the city. How awful that must be and the oder must be awful too. Is the strike over yet? Hope so.
-
There were 2 baby deer in our yard today I tried to get a picture but they are so small and they blend in well in the grass and shade.
-
Can you see them on the far left in the middle of the picture. They still have their white spots. Hope all has a good day.
-
This little guy is keeping watch..

This Camel climbed Mount Washington
-
Lets try this again. This camel climbed Mt. Washington.
-
Good morning mountain gals. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. We've got a monsoon going here but it is so nice and COOL that who am I to complain. At least until I need a boat.
-
Hey Jazzy girl I am sending my jon boat just in case you need it to paddle to the store. We ended up only getting wind and lightening, no rain so I am jealous of your weather.
Lisa love the little guy watching he is so cute
Deb, you can tell that poor camel has done something strenuous. Wouldn't it be fun to actually ride one up the mountain.
Everyone have a great day

I love how Marty the cat is all poofed out. If you go on www.mountwashington.org
you will see pics of Marty and there are a few other cats that have retired as a Mascot from the mountain.
-
Nin and Inga were the other cats.

Twins visiting one of the lakes on the mountain.

Went and had a look at Marty, beautiful cat. those dear look like the 2 hanging in my back yard. They are so graceful and quick. Do you live near the lake?
-
I am awful groggy from surgery.. but will try to post...lol.... I did fine.. thank you spar...
The party Saturday was awesome and we had such a good time.. I hated it to end...
Debbie started chemo yesterday. I have not talked to her. I hope I will this week... I know very little about lung cancer as a primary.. but I think it is a hard one.....
Ladies.. I just love all the pictures here... beautiful....
off too sleep...Love ya!!!
-
Estepp, so thankful you did fine. sleep all you can and rest that body up. Hope you have some help with the kids so you can rest.
Praying for Debbie that the chemo works and she handles it without getting sick.
Love the beauty of nature.

Hello mountains, trees, streams, rivers, flowers, animals and all of nature. I have a couple of cuties of my own this morning.
I don't even know how many kitties we have anymore. They are each so cute and fun to watch but we are spending a fortune on cat food and they eat lizards, grasshoppers, locusts, etc.
We turned our jon boat over and there was a copperhead in it, it went under the seat and wouldn't come out. We tried to smoke it out but as far as we know it is either still under the seat or found a ways out of the boat during the night. Now I am scared to row across the pond fraid that snake will get me.
Hope all has a good day.
-
No Spar, I do not live near a lake. But use to have a camp on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH.
-
Checked out the web site and looked at the photo gallery, very nice place to camp.
Good nite all, am getting tired and going to read my book.

Here is one lake near Mammouth CA

Spar.. I love ya... I did have help with the kids...
... Since they are not MINE...LOL......
Those little babies in the picture are my grandkids.. so I did not see them for the first few days after surgery... their momma ( my d-i-l).. was a dear and brought them over thurs. to see me and play..:).. I could not pick them up.. and they were told "La La" ( that is me) has a boo boo.. so I just held their hands as we walked around... D-I-L brought Lunch for us all...:)
Did you think those kiddos were MINE.... LOL.. I am "La La"... not Ma Ma....
God Bless you for thinking they were mine......:) -
found this up on a mountain...it looked restful..
-
Looks intriguing...
-
-
Estepp, I did think they were your children, you just look too young to be a "la la". LOL Aren't grandkids the best. Hey, I love ya back.
Lisa, love the old bridge and the rocky streams. I can see myself wading down them in my old cotton tennis shoes looking for pretty rocks. Also love that blue lake with the snowy mountains around it. Very nice.

Hello Mountain, time for a hike, the day is cool and cloudy and damp. The perfect time for a hike.
Really cloudy today but am hoping to come into some sunshine and find some beautiful flowers
It would be so cool to horseback ride through the mountains.
Good hiking or bike riding trails also
carved paths through the mountains
rivers to raft down
Good adventures this day on the mountain. Everyone have a great day full of love and laughter.

I only feel the need to post this one thing today. the scenery is absolutely beautiful

I just watch the video above again, the scenery just makes me feel at peace as does this song.
My car broke down so have been riding in an old pick up with no air but today my DH got my car fixed and it is such a blessing. We are going to splurgh tonight and go have all the crab legs you can eat buffett. So that is another blessing. I do love my crab.
Yum, thats what I'm talking about.
In the video above is a picture that reminds me of my last plane ride, I looked out the window and all you could see below was clouds. It was so beautiful, like huge cushions of cotton was holding that plane up.
I finally got Out of the Fog ordered that Checkum wrote, so should be getting it in the mail in a couple of days. The library here couldn't get it for some reason so I will donate it after I read it.
Hope all has a wonderful day. Enjoy every second.
-
Kind of tired tonight, its getting late and I need to get to bed. It has been a strange day, went to church, worked in the toddler room. Resigned from my church, toddler room, greeter/usher, snacks for youth group, feeding the hungry on Wed. nights. Resigned from all of it. Am going to visit some other churches in the area. Getting the granddaughter tomorrow for a few days so won't have much computer time but will be back soon. good night on the mountain.
