Sending hugs and prayers to you this evening Saint.

(Copied from Stage IV Board:)
OK. We're still playing phone tag, but today's message was decidedly more up-beat.
She will indeed have the transfusion tomorrow. She's planning on spending the 5 hours getting caught up on here -- as that will give her something to do.
She has a lifetime friend there @ the house right now (from FL) who is keeping her company while her DH is on his teaching assignment -- which is an ENORMOUS relief.
Our prayers have given her some more sparkle.
The jury is out as to whether or not she'll have the MRI tomorrow. I'll let her explain that.
Pray on. Pray on. Laugh and Care and Encourage and Support!!!!
Whatever you call it -- when your heart gets involved, that's what she needs.

Saint,
I wish you a safe and fast transfusion. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Just wondering if you are interested in some more chocolates? They may help you heal and they taste great.
Wishing you a day full of sunshine. Sending you many gentle (((((HUGS))))). Thinking of you always.

Remember my effort to quote you??
It's the thought that counts. TeeHee.
My swiss cheese brain got most of it -- even if it's a bit scrambled:

Saint!!!! Sending you lots of hugs and prayers today. Praying that new blood makes you feel better and stronger. So glad your friend is with you awhile.
STRENGTH AND COURAGE-STRENGTH AND COURAGE-STRENGTH AND COURAGE!!!!
-
You are in my thoughts Saint.
-
Saint!
Hugs! I hope you are doing well.

I planned to spend 5 hours catching up here---but the boards were down & I used up all my battery in chat! LOL
I am almost done with my second unit of blood. Not feeling as fatigued--yeah!
Had the MRI, but no one could find a vein to do the contrast--I told them to quit at 3 pokes! The thing about the MRI: They can ALWAYS find cancer in me---just wondering if this back pain is the big C or something else since it seems to be changing & moving.....the only scary part is the CCT was 8 last time & over 100 this time.......SUX!
Time will tell the tale--just wish my friend wasn't spending so much of her visit driving me to doc app'ts & waiting for me to wake up!! LOL
I will keep you posted--but I firmly believe that it is the love, prayers & support here that keeps me humming..........HUGS F&F, Coonie, EWB, Holly, Sharon, Arnie, Cheryl & all! (chocolate is ALWAYS welcome! LOL) I'm doing OK.......
Be well & stay strong
-
Saint,
So good to hear from you. Faith keeps me informed of your health via a few threads. That's one heck of a friend you have. I just wanted to let you know that I think of you often and pray for your health every day. Be well.

I just got off the phone with our Saint. Lovely long chatty conversation.
There has not been a great upswing in how she feels/energy, even with this most recent transfusion..... that has apparently NOT been the answer.
She continues to sleep alot. We talked that sleeping must be what her body needs at this point.
She was able to go to the wedding yesterday (she was the personal attendant to the bride.) Tho they didn't go to the reception afterward.
Her company left this morning. Her DH has one more week left of his assignment 'away' and will return to home this time next week. He will go to her next set of appointments and listen with extra set of ears.
They are making all of the preparations to take their son to college in just a couple of weeks.
DD will start drivers ed and that will provide back up help in the long run.
She's grateful to each and all for support: prayers, wishes, good thoughts, healing vibes & encouragement.
She appreciates everyone's well wishes.
Big hugs to each and all.

Happy Monday Morning, dearie.
Sending you great Rocky Mountain hugs.
Soak up the strength from the mountains as you continue to search for answers.
Sleep well and sleep deeply.
Let the rest of us watch over you, from afar.

Good Monday Morning sweet SIster!....Hope you continue to gain strength each and every day...Saint, thank you for being such a kind friend to all of us......You are such a special person....I am honored to call you Friend.......
-
Good Monday morning Saint. Sending you big hugs from the south. I'm sure they're not as beautiful as the Rockies, but they are sent with LOTS of hugs and prayers.....LOL..........and HEAT........lots and lots of hot hot hot HEAT!!! Scorching heat......hehe. But know that you're always in my thoughts and prayers.

-
Thanx to everyone---still no change & I grow weary of not finding an answer!
I may not wait for dh to talk to the doc again......gonna just wait & see how the next few days go. I will try to update here or thru F&F or Dream.......
I am OK---just too tired & sore joints with NO plausible answer! Doesn't it just figure that when you have an excuse to lie in bed all day it isn't what you want to do??? LOL
Be well & stay strong
-
(((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))) Saint!
-
Hey sister-Saint & all saint sisters...
Starting my day thinking of you..... Sending prayers and encouragement thru the trials and the unknowns.
Be kind to yourself. You have been on a journey of epic proportions. We know because of your willingness to share.
Sending some of that lingering new baby smell, before it's all washed off.
Allen will be "my people" for the next couple days & then I will REALLY miss you.
The rocky tops already have snow.
