Just Diagnosed

Yep,  after I told my ONC about the steroids she 1/2d the dosage also.  Still, I couldn't find enough to keep me busy yesterday!  I guess they gave me so much in the beginning to make sure I could handle the cytoxan (poison):) 

I noticed you've been here since 2002...are you still going through treatment?  Do you mind me asking?

I'm responding and asking questions on two different threads with you all...getting confused!  Chemo brain already?!!!!!

I have three more days on this cycle of oral cytoxan.  Hasn't been nearly as bad as I anticipated.  It's early in the game , however it seems that this whole process is made so much worse by the unknown, and the waiting.

I've only done one cycle (2 weeks), but so far no hair loss.  The only SE's so far have been some knotting up of the stomach, and a little tiredness. My Onc says the hair loss, if any, should be minimal.  I'll keep you posted.

I have also been diagnosed with sleep apnea, have been on the cpap machine for 2 weeks now, and it has made a huge difference.  I actually wake up feeling like I have had some sleep.
