Yikes! I've learned that when someone deletes a post it bumps the thread to the bottom of your Favourites, so here is a bump back to the top where this belongs!
Go Checkum! Go Checkum!

Cheering from the great north woods of Wisconsin.

Checkum......May your steps get Us All One STEP CLOSER ......
To no more PAIN.....
To no more FEAR......
To no more SADNESS.....
To no more TEARS......
To no more LOSS.....
May YOUR STEPS TAKE US CLOSER TO THE CURE!!!!
-
Dear Lord, You've done so much for me
Thank You with all my soul
But, I've something to ask of thee
Needing Your grand control
I've waged this battle and I've won
Yet, others battle still
For some, their journey's just begun
Please guide each in Your will. I've walked this road; I've felt each bump
I have conquered Your test
I've grown much wiser, since the lump
Located in my breast
I see the world much differently
I pray others will, too
So many fight audaciously
Lord, help to see them through. Dear Lord, I ask with all my heart
Please touch these special lives
Bless them with courage from the start
Bring hope into their eyes
Let their hope shine a hallowed light
That burns forevermore
To honor their spirited fight
And our dreams for a cure. © 2008 - Jill Eisnaugle's Poetry Collection -

Hi all
I am in a tiny fishing villiage in Mexico called Chelem. No kids, not even a husband HA!
I have been here 4 weeks and will stay 4 more. -
Wow Merilee that really sounds like a great escape. Where in Mexico is Chelem?
-
Wow Merilee.........how lovely. I hope you having a wonderful time. It sounds like heaven on earth.
-
Checkum...........hope you are having fun.
-
We took this shot one night in Mexico. We got lost trying to get back to our resort.
-
Awesome pic and really nice escape! I'm jealous!
I hope Checkum is doing well. It was a great day weatherwise for walking. Right now it is only 65 degrees. Can you believe this is July?? Unfortunately, we are going to get up to 5 inches of rain tonight and poor Checkum will be in her tent. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I hope she stays dry!
-
Okay ladies we need a everyone to do the rain prevention dance. We want Checkum to be confortable tonight.
-
Merilee!!!! I've been wondering where you are!!! Now we know. Sure hope you're having a good time. Hope to see some pics when you return home. Safe travels.
Mum.......your pics is beautiful. Of course, all of your pics are beautiful
Awhhhh I hate to hear there's rain in the forecast tonight. I sure hope Checkum's tent is thick and waterproof.
Hey Sharon.....how 'bout you come pick me up in the ole duckie #32 and we'll go see about Checkum. Maybe take her some snacks or something........I'll be waiting on the shore of the Red River.......ok? -
I'm thinking more Noah's Ark might be in order here. I'm growing moldy with all the rain. Oh pllllllllease let it not rain on Checkum!!! And please make it stop here just for a day or two?
-
For goodness sake.............I've got pics on my puter.............how the heck do I post them here? I've tried to cut/copy and paste.................no can do.
-
Do you have them saved in photobucket Sharon?
-
Sharon, do you want me to teach you?
-
I've never used photobucket..............and yes Linda.............you post such b-e-a-u-tiful red boxes...........
I can't even do that.
-
Sharon.....it's easy to open a photobucket account. Then you can transfer your pics from your computer to photobucket and then you can post them here. You can do it!! I know you can sistah!! You're a bright, smart, intelligent Canadian woman. Go for it!!!!!!
OH.....and photobucket is free and you can make it PRIVATE so no one else can see your pics.
-
Can't I just cut or copy off my puter?
Edit to add........like I do from Google?
Re-edit to add, yep, I'm Canadian but not so bright or smart.
-
I don't think so. I know I'm not able to. Of course, I'm no expert. Somebody else may be able to help you do that. But not me.........loonie coonie.......remember?
