First let me say "Hello" and "Thank You" for allowing me to join this message board.  My mother is a member of this site and I became a member last night to share an inspirational tribute to Breast Cancer patients with all of you.  I've never been a member of a message board, so please forgive me if I lack proper etiquette.

My two teenage daughters and I watched "So You Think You Can Dance" last night.  My mother was in her own home and not with me and my daughters as we watched, but she watched from home and we spoke immediately after viewing it.  We all sat in awe with tears streaming, lumps formed in our throats and goose bumps from head to toe as we watched a beautiful performance by two of the dancers.  The performance was choreographed by Emmy Nominee, Tyce Diorio, in honor of his friend who is battling Breast Cancer.

It is by far one of the most beautiful works of art we have ever seen based solely on it's special tribute to women, like my mother, who battle with this disease every day.  It is an exquisite portrayal of the journey and the struggle women face while battling this disease.

I'm posting this link to the article and video on behalf of my mother, a woman who has chosen to fight this disease....the strongest woman I know and the woman that look up to with great admiration.  We hope it gives you strength and inspiration and touches you as much as it did us.

P.S.  Mom, if you're reading this post....381 (I love you), you're baby girl!!

Welcome. You're mom's fortunate to have a daughter with such a caring heart. I also saw the performance and cried, then watched it again and again. Dick Clark Productions has been working with YouTube to remove the clips of the dance due to copywrite infringement. So I'm not sure how long the link will remain active. However, people were so moved by the dance that it keeps getting added as a new link. Running a search in YouTube will get results that should allow people to see the performance; it's worth the extra effort of doing a search because the performance was so moving.

Thank you for sharing so beautifully your support of your mom.

It's unfortunate that they would remove it from YouTube, it's still up on the wordpress link, hope they don't have to remove it from their too.  One would think that as long as credit is given where credit is due (to the show, choreographer and dancers), it would be appreciated by Fox that is was shared with so many.

As for my support for my mom...she receives it from all of you here as well, and I can't possibly thank you enough for that!

I certainly did not expect to be affected so emotionally by that dance, but I truly was.  The expression of feelings exibited in the movements were so true to real.

Wow.  I do hope many here will watch the video.

I didn't watch the show.  My daughter came to visit this afternoon and sat me down to watch it.  She said how it made her cry.  Inside my head I'm thinking, No way will I cry.

I cried.  It was beautiful.  Touching - and danced from the heart.

Take the time to watch it.
