Femara and massage

Options

After 7 months, the Femara has my body aching like I had a really hard workout.  I'm going to ask my oncologist if a regular massage would help.

Has anyone else tried this - or any other method of getting rid of the aches?

I've been on Femara now since October - so 9 months - always achey here & then there, but mostly back.  I can't see how a massage could possibly hurt though I doubt I'd choose shiatsu cuz that can make you feel worse for a while with toxins released every which way.  Swedish would just feel good, I think.

On femara as well and accupunture, gluc/chod, and lots of exercise helps me.

But I feel like you do, like my body got hit by a MAC truck most of the time.

Massage, reiki, hot tubs/warm baths, gentle yoga/stretching, keeping hydrated (believe it or not), avoiding caffene have helped me over the yrs. I have not tried acupuncture but have heard from others that it has been most helpful as well as fish oils/cod liver oil.  I have not had any surgery, so I have not risk for lymphodema, but if you are at risk...might want to check on that regarding massage.

    Best wishes

I have been on Femara for the past 8 months with little or no side effects just a bit achy and stiff fingers in the morning when I wake up, and sometimes have draggy days but not too many.  I have always loved massage so I have been going regularly for the past four months and leave feeling great.  I have also become an exercise junkie and I really think that helps as well.
