For Saint
He Knows
He knows each tear you cry
and He knows the reason why.
He knows each smile that you
share and He knows every-time you care.
He knows when your sad or blue and He'll
always see you threw.
He knows to be cheery and bright
helps to show another He's light.
He knows when you sing a song,
it will help another along.
He knows everything that you do,
and He cares very much about you.

Love can be special,
Love can be true.
But love is much better,
When it begins with you.
-
Just alittle Faith
Just alittle faith made the blind man see,
Just alittle faith can do the same for you and me.
Just alittle faith can help you each and everyday,
Just alittle faith and you'll never lose your way.
So have just alittle faith when things go wrong,
and you'll find yourself sing a beautiful song.

Saint! So glad you are well and able to post. I have been ill myself and hopefully am on the mend. I spent the month of June in the hospital, had to have an open decortication of my right lung and was on home IV for 16 days. We do what we have to do, but we are here. Bless the rest of you sisters for your good thoughts and prayers. Onward and upward!
Hugs to all,
Nancy
P.S. I forgot to thank you footprintangel for keeping things going.

Something I scribbled long ago.. This thread is making me dig out everything LOL...I am loving my work and have got adjusted to the changed schedule now.
I have missed you ladies. You are such wonderful writers and more than that .. your words are simple and touch my heart.
Smile your life away....
If you aren't happy and feel depressed
Try to laugh amidst your big problem
There are many things for which joy can be expressed
Many things of smile are an emblem
Look away when someone stares with rage
Turn deaf ears to someone abusing you
Take every frustration with calmness of sage
Just for the sake of smiling; smile all life through
Realize life cannot consist of only pleasures
Its needs to have its own share of strife too
Why not find the in-hidden treasures
Why not be satisfied with God's gift to you
Do not be scared of trouble's slimy hands
Shed not even a drop of tear
Against time not even the cruelest stands
When God is our protector; then why fear?
Do not be always receiving from everyone
Remember, there is joy in giving too
From right path be distracted by none
Be happy if you harm no one and are true
Do not feel sad if you have no wealth
Do the happily chirping birds possess money???
Great wealth is your happiness and good health
And wealth is your words, if sweet as honey
Be happy for you know not death's pace of creeping
Laugh as you know not when life declines
Life when it came to you had found you weeping
So shouldn't death find you in all smiles?
-
farila, that is absolutley wonderful! Keep digging. You are coming up with jewels.

-
Saint.............keeping you in my prayers
-
I awake again in disbelief
surely it cannot be so
i dreamt i ate a side of beef
my veggie status i must forego -
Will this journey ever truly end?
Will my heart ever mend?
I know I only have two more chemo's to go..
Then radiation, this I know...
But, will this journey ever end?
Will my heart mend?
-
Some journeys are harder than others
Unpleasent ones seem to never end
Hope and pray everyday for one another
For these tough times to make amends
-
If you ever wonder
How many times
Your heart can be
broken........
I'll tell you
It's as many times
As you allow it to
love........
No matter what
Kind of safeguard
What kind of shield
beware........
Love will find
A crack in your defenses
And seep slowly
out........
Try as you might
The trickle becomes a stream
Swelling into a
river........
Of tears shed
When you realize
You had no protection, no
guarantees........
Because your heart
Was too big to close tight
Too soft to turn away, too easy to
love.

A TRUE FRIEND
When trouble strikes a blow
Downwards when my spirits flow
My progress limps on very slow
And I find myself in dumps deep and low
Suddenly when I am at a dead end
A pat on my back says, be brave my friend
That pat is from my friend in need
A true friend who stands by me in trouble is my friend indeed...........
-
Hey Farila,
I was just thinking of you! You give all of us that pat on the back.
Mazy, you sure are right about the unpleasant journeys. I am hoping one day we can all be at that place where we look back and see that we have covered the distance but have finally arrived.
Arnie, I am praying God gives you strength and courage for what you and others are going through. I figure if God wouldn't take the cup from Jesus, He won't take this from us but He will be there every step of the way to hold us up.
Apple, you make me laugh and we so need that!
I wish all of you ladies a wonderful Thursday and help from the least expected place. I am very glad we have found each other.
Anyone heard from Saint? Hope she is well.
Love bunches,
Nancy

Nancy
