I need an idea for a team name
I'm doing a Susan G Komen walk in October and can't think of a good name for our team. The team will be made up of my sister and 2 nieces who live in NYC and their friends....any ideas?

Is there something that you all like to do together? A fun family memory? My team is comprised of family and friends. Most of us get together once a month for a girls game night so......our team name is "Girls Got Game".
If you visit the race site you can also see an amazing variety of names. Maybe that will help spark something for you. Good luck and have fun at the race.

We try to do something personal/different each year. One year our team name was "What can PINK do for you?" Our shirts were brown and had the outline of a "UPS" truck in pink with a ribbon where their logo would go. Under the shirt it said "Delivering hope & courage one survivor at a time." The inspiration for that shirt was my best friends husband. He works for UPS and we tease him because we live on his route.
I'm dying to do this one but haven't talked our team in to it yet..."Thanks for the mammories" think Thanks for the Memories tune...

Hi there,
I did the Susan Komen 3 Day Walk last year in Boston, MA. Our team name was the Blister Sisters ....
The walk was a fantastic experience, and I hope to do another one at some point. I managed to walk all 60 miles .....my feet were swollen for days!!
Good luck.

How about Team CONY Goils.
Hope to see you there. Look for Team B4BC-Denver! My team co-captain volunteers with Boarding For Breast Cancer - b4bc.org, so they're sponsoring our Komen team. Stop on by and say hello.

in 2001 I did my first Komen walk 2 months after my mother's diagnosis and we created a church team 'Wilma's Team'. After another woman in our church was diagnosed 2 yrs later we changed our name to 'Friends of Survivors'. We have 1 woman who died from our church and 4 others who have been diagnosed since we started. This year is our 9th year walking and the NC Foothills 10th year.
