Mornings Ladies...opps afternoon ladies!
Having over-slept (the new alarm clock/ipod station thingy I got for birthday was not set up properly, although it did work yesterday) and hit the ground running to get to doc for annual physical. Appt was for 10 and I woke up at 10:02
Big sigh...they are very close and very laid back about these things.....more big sighs (he's checking the blood pressure which has been rather on the high side) ... even more big sighs.... Actually bp was really good (thanks to all the big sighs ?), he is suggesting lactulose for SEs from pain meds, which might also help the (what I think is) heartburn symptoms along with prilosec (or aciphex ?). Did lose some weight (yea), but saw a change on the ekg (some part of the waves went down instead of up like the last one he did), no not having any chest pains (but wasn't having bone pain prior to dx of bone mets either) so now its off to the cardiologist. Ack..another doc to add to the list, also need (want) to find ortho or rhuemotologist (sp?) for joint concerns. Blahhh.
TMI I know... I am so ready to find an empty chair beach side and hide for the afternoon.Hoping everyone is having nice quiet easy afternoon.
Hugs to Julz--I'll be watching the Parkway for you.

Walking on the beach I see alot of friends together, Laughing and
sharing alot . Faith and Sharon where hosting a party of love.
Sharing, julz and connie their joy and hope. EWB and arnie seemed
to be able to give everyone here alot of smiles and strength. Spar and others
brought their positive thoughts. I saw the footprints in the sand not very far away.
The Lord was with them.
-
Here is San Diego bay by moonlight...
-
Hey foots, you sound like your doing good.
Arnie thanks for asking about my necklaces, I just got 2 in the mail to hollyann, I didn't take pictures of them, one is normal, one is wild. She is a beautiful person. Hope she likes both of them.
Had a busy day at the science center, lots of fun with granddaughter. My son't SO's mother died tonight at 7PM and they were both with her. She had lung cancer. I pray and wish we would find a cure this year.
Very nice picture on Faith and DH. I agree he is a keeper. Mine is too.
Lisa, picture is very beautiful and interesting.
((((coonie, sharon, julz, EWB, heymoose, and anyone i may have missed)))))))))
Goodnight all
-
Lisa, you're not gonna believe this, but I came home from work yesterday and told my DH and DD we need to rent a u-haul truck---one way---to San Diego. Our heat index was 110 degrees. And I KNOW your weather there is perfect. If I didn't have so much family, etc. here, I'd move to San Diego in a second. That picture is so beautiful!!! hmmmm........maybe I will rent that u-haul and start packing up today........LOL
Good morning beachies! Hope you all have a wondermous Tuesday.
Julz.........I guess I better do something about the top of that page, huh? LOL OK OK.....I will:)

Coonie. Pack your U-Haul & come up here.
Just saw the 5 day forcast. High 70's for 4 days, one day to cross into the 80's. Seriously.
Bring some sweatshirts, tho.
We have used our air conditioner for a total of about 3 hours so far this summer..... not one hour in July. LOL.

Come on over Coonie

Hi Beachies....
OH FAITH.....Here it is.....
Salmon Teriyaki.....
Grill your Salmon with Lemon Pepper seasoning....I like McCormicks regular or Grill Mates version, or they have a 'NO SALT' version of Mrs. Dash.....Then Baste the last 5 minutes or so with "LA CHOY's" Teriyaki sauce. Place over a bed of rice .........Drizzle a little extra sauce if you want......Serve with some easy vegis saute' in a little pam Snow Peas or zuchinni
or
Both Good choices & easy pop in the Micro for cooking!

Night Nite Beachies.....

Julz...sleep tight!
-
Well my DH spent all afternoon cutting up the salmon and vacuum packing it for freezing. We had a simple grilled salmon extravaganza -- with our fresh strawberries & some incredible blue berries.
Scrumptious.
All I had to do was clean up the kitchen afterwards.
Julz hope that your work 'day' is an easy one.... you deserve a break in the action.
Hugs all around.
Footie: lemonade & a cabana boy to you.
Dream, Elaine & Arnie...... sending you encouragement.
All the rest of you beachies -- know how much I appreciate your contributions to the fun around here. May you have a deep sleep and wake up rejuvinated & ready for a Happy Hump Day.

Beachies..... long story short, Saint has had a set-back. New side effect of her recent rads.
I've posted a bit more on the Stage IV & prayer area.
I'd be so grateful if you'd chime in with your encouraging thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and or silly upbeat nonsense, too -- on either or both spots.

Morning sunshine is hiding behind our clouds today.
It is really time for rain here, so the current almost-showers are very welcome.
Happy, happy HumpDay everyone.
Shall we have a HumpDay party??
Who's psyched for some mid-week silliness??
-
-
Sorry for Saints set back, sending her prayers
Julz, no, haven't made anything with it yet, just have it in a clear bowl in my kitchen window to admire as the dishes get done. After eating Jasmine rice, just can't eat the regular stuff anymore. It is wonderful.
Faith that is a nice fish, I bet it was really tasty.
Wake up call to Arnie, its day time now.
hi to Sharon and Coonie.
-
Hey Spar.........I hope all is well with you.
Yikeserooni..............outta my way gals. HE'S MINE!!!!!!!!!!
Heck, like I'd know what to do with him anyway
...........oh well, he could always clean and I could watch.
-
rofl...sharon!!! I'd watch too...hehehe
Had the grandbabies over today... so much fun!
lol...spar... I did take a nap with Lilah though..
Anybody seen coonie????? Where is that gal...hmmmmmmm do we have to start a search???
Faith... I must say I do appreciate your taste in men...
The rain has crossed the lake and heading towards us... hope we get a good downpour, so I don't have to waterr.
-
Julz is the best at locating "appropriate" eye candy, but I'm willing to fill in when she's working.
Our rain was brief, Arnie, hope it gathered a bit more steam as it came across the lake. I was able to get out on my bike this afternoon.
Hope that everyone has had the happiest of hump days.
****I completely forgot that today was Wed. DUH. Totally missed our concert at the bandshell on the beach. Not sure what happens to my brain cells when I get up here -- literally can not keep the days of the week straight. And obviously I knew it was HumpDay, you'd think I could have associated that with Wed?? Apparently not. LOL.
-
Faith you have been busy giving us eyecandy on several threads. More power to ya.
-
Hey MUM!! Can't remember if you've been beachside before??? Course I can't remember what day of the week it is.
If so, welcome back.
If not, welcome -- welcome.
Yours & your DH photography would be perfect on this thread.
Here's a glimmer sailing off into the sunset tonight:
Hugs and a good night's sleep to each & every.
xx00xx00xx
