Dear pvr, I wanted to answer your previous asking to hear from ILC survivors.  I was diagnosed 11 years ago and have had mets since '02.  In spite of being on almost continuous treatment.  I am able to enjoy my life with family and friends.  Sure there are difficult days.  The important thing is to keep going and enjoy the little things everyday.  Work will help you to feel more normal and to keep you mind on positive things.  I wish you well.  Enjoy you daughter!  Quilter

prv, I also went back to work 2 1/2 weeks after my bilat mast (the day my final drain was pulled!). I found it great to get back to some sense of normal. Have a 2 hour commute so I basically dropped when I walked in the door, but was very proud of myelf.

    Congrats!

prv, I went back to work around the same time.  It went fine. Try to take it a bit easier. You don't have to push yourself. You're still in the thick of everything, but keeping busy at work can help.  My toughest times were those when I was at home alone late at night with nothing but my thoughts and fears.  You are most definitely in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.
