Working Out the Arms- Help!
You know how that flab on the bottom of your arm waves at everyone.
Mine has gotten so much worse this past year
I worked hard for so long to have nice arms.
So what are some good things to try to tone that area?
I need Motivation.
Thanks,
Pam

Hi, Pam ~ I have been doing some serious walking in the past couple of months (I'm up to about 4.5 miles a day), and I've recently started working my arms by doing curls, etc., with the 1 liter water bottle I take along. The difference in just a couple of weeks has been remarkable, and the walking is really slimming my hips and thighs.
Also, come join us on the "Motivation" thread. There are gals there doing all sorts of things, from Zumba to rebounding, and I'm sure they'll have more ideas for you. Deanna

Google tricep kickbacks. Those exercises really help with the back of the arm jiggly stuff,.

Pam - the flapping arm fat problem is soooo sad! I ALWAYS took pride in my arms.........with all the swimming, no matter how chubby my tummy got, I always maintained muscular arms. Not any more - this past year, nothing but flab. I definitely need to join the ladies on the Motivation thread - thanks for the reminder Deanna!

It's not for the under jiggle part but this month's Shape magazine has some simple deltoid exercises that look really good and easy to incorporate.
(Shape just showed up in my mailbox one day. It's a little crazy-making with all this talk about loving your body and only having pictures of stick thin models with huge smiles plastered on their faces while they're exercising. I don't know about you but I don't have a huge smile on my face when I'm exercising unless something funny comes on the ipod. I take that back, I do get to grinning when i'm out for a long walk. And I'm not stick thin either! It's also irritating that the real women that they choose to feature who have lost 50, 80, 100 pounds are all in their 20's and all ate absolute crap and did no exercise at all before they made changes. It's just a touch harder when you're in your 50's and you already eat well and exercise 8-10 hours a week! Oops, I'm staying up too late and I'm rambling.
