    Darn it.  How did I miss this thread??  I would have voted 100 times.  I certainly  hope that they follow through when they rebook the concert.

    I see that you are from Carmel.  My husband and I were there a couple of weeks ago to see Rascal Flatts.  What a beautiful city.  Very clean, friendly and well looked after.  I have become a Kei Tea enthusiast and will be back to pick up some more (and DD coffee!) in the near future.

     Cindy,  I can't believe it....I was just talking to someone on the phone and she said Oh, I wanted to ask you , I heard that Aerosmith had to cancel the concert last night..........and I didn't even let her go on just went NO, that can't have happened!.  Oh that just can't be true. Let me go look at the massage boards.  She was one I had gotten to vote.  So then I came on here an read what happened and CIndy, I am so glad that you posted to let us know what went on and that you all seemed to take it very well.  Especially Max....I was afraid he would be heartbroken.  I am sure they will reschedule and will see to it that you get tickets for a later date and that they will show Max some VIP treatment.  I am glad you made the most of it and got some rides in at Kings Island. It shows what a strong person you are and what a great family unit you have, making lemonade out of lemons.   If they don't make it up to you, there are going to be a lot of your breast cancer buddies who join ranks and bombard the website raising heck.  I really think this should be a human interest story in the Enquirer or another newspaper.....things didn't turned out as planned, but as I said I am sure they will reschedule and you will be at the concert later.  In the meantime you certainly did get a lot of people involved and it did everyone good to think about something other than SEs and treatments and cancer for a few days.  Your dream for your son touched the lives of many.  I hope your family has a wonderful holiday weekend because you deserve it.

      I heard on the radio tonight on the way home from work that they are actually going to do a concert this weekend I think...maybe in Florida.  Guess they ended up canceling 5 of them.  It said they would probably be announding rescheduled concerts and they are hoping CIncinnati will be one of them....of course this was a Cincinnati station so that is why it was mentioned specifically, but I am hoping it will be for Max's sake.

    Hey you guys.... :)

    Just wanted to pop in and say hi... unbelievably there has been no reschedule date announced for Cincinnati... we were happy to hear the tour resumed....then the other night in South Dakota Steven Tyler fell off the stage and broke his shoulder ... so now it would appear the tour is at another stand still... can you believe it?  I can't.  It's crazy!  We had hope when they resumed after his leg injury but now... I don't know what to think... meanwhile.. school starts on Tuesday for Max and he plows on... poor kid... this has been a very weird year for him! :)   Regardless... the prize for me was seeing all you guys jump on and get behind me.... I just wish it would have worked out differently.... peace to all my bc sisters.. I hope you all are feeling well and enjoying the last bit of summer!!!  I sure will let you know if this thing ever happens!!

      A 2nd injury in one season......think maybe these guys have a problem?  Whatever I hope that eventually you and your son get to attend the concert and get to go backstage. Did the people sponsering the contest ever contact you regarding doing something for you in the future...seems like it  would be bad PR for them is they didn't do something on their part of the deal.

    so far, they keep saying the concert is just postponed and the prize will be awarded on the new date ...

    Hi ladies...

    Unfortunately due to Steven's injury from the fall off the stage in SD, the rest of the the summer tour has been cancelled.  I know.  It's very sad.... we hope Steven fully recovers ... he will.... that's the important thing... and, hey, Max will survive.. he's survived worse news, right?  He's a trooper.. and someday... we will take him to that Aerosmith concert.... it just won't be this year.....regardless, he knows how many people reached out and made it their mission for him to win.. and that's pretty cool... thank you again for showing him that.... peace to all my bc sisters.. have a great weekend with no side-effects!!!

    UPDATE!!!!!  Whew!! Fast Forward a Year... and I am BACK to say that Aerosmith came through Cincinnati last night HEALTHY and happy and rocked our world with a Meet and Greet overdue from last year's contest and WOW a GREAT concert!.... MAX GOT TO MEET STEVEN TYLER AND JOE PERRY and after much anticipation it was everything we thought it would be... they were AWESOME and sounded better than ever before... we are still reeling from a very very special night.  I am going to try and upload some pictures in here... let me see if this works....

    I wanted to reach out to see if any of you are still in here... I know it's a year later... and I'm hoping you all are busy and out living your lives and having fun...... but without my bc.org girls... this would NOT have happened... thank you so so much....  Max was smiling from ear to ear all night....and well...... it made me very very happy to see after a rough year for all of us.....       WOW. Great pics.  Am so glad you finally got to go. I remember how excited we all were when you won last year and then the whole deal was canceled.  Hope Max has lots of things to keep him smiling....you also.  Marybe
