Hi sweetpea,  I don't know about the cancer making you feel tired, but I think it does.  It was my experience that I was very tired, unlike anything I'd ever felt before, for 6 months before my cancer was diagnosed.  I didn't sleep well, though, due to hot flashes, but this went beyond just that.  It was a real fatigue that even sleep didn't relieve.  I think the tiredness might be our body trying to fight off the cancer.  I hope others can shed some light on this.  Some on this site have said that they felt fine before their diagnosis, so I know not everyone feels tired.

Sweetpea, I didn't have tiredness but my emotions went haywire for about 6 months pre diagnosis - I thought I was headed into menopause at the age of 46 - but no - breast cancer for me.  My cancer is highly responsive to oestrogen so I guess my tumour was just eating it up.  If only we were more in tune with our bodies .....

As you are heading into the beginning of your treatments please be kind to yourself and rest whenever you can - take help from wherever you can and come here if you need us.  This is a wonderful place, with some wondeful ladies.

     soft hugs

    Helena
