swimangel72: It's me on the horse...15 to 20 years ago!  Love bareback...except on hot, muggy days.  I've gain some weight since then.  My DH and I were planning on going out to Montana this July to ride up into the Rockies for a week.  But we have to scrap that one for this year due to me needing chemo every 2 weeks for 6 months.  Oh, well, next year!

Am I understanding that site to say that normal breast cells leave the breast and travel around your body?  I thought noncancerous cells followed the rules!  Wonder, now, if other organ's cells do that as well.

Talked to my surgeon yesterday about the pathology.  There actually were 12 lesions in my liver ranging from pea to marble size.  He removed 2 of them and biopsed 4 others.  They were all scattered, so he couldn't just cut off a section and get them all.  He said 3 of the 6 were cancer.  Here is where it gets confusing.  He said he is sure it is from the breast cancer because the 3 all stained ER and PR positive.  But he also used the term intestinal in there in his description.

He wants me to do AC for chemo for 6 months - every 2 weeks.  Does that sound familiar to anyone?  He said AC is effective for both breast and colon cancer.

I'm getting a colonoscopy done day after tomorrow.  Whoppie:(  Hate those things.  Then I see a hairdresser Friday who specializes in making wigs that match your original hair.  It's all coming at me kinda fast.  Guess that is better than slow.  I'm getting scared of the chemo now that it is a reality.  Any suggestions about SE?

Prayers and (((((( HUGS)))))) to all you wonderful ladies!!!Kiss

I really believe that if they would do pet scans on ladies who caught their cancer in the early stages they would see a lot more mets. just my opinion. I asked 2 onc. for a pet scan and the refused because i didn't need one. I want one because i want conformation that I didn't have it else where. Both of my parent past from cancer my father was just 39. My mother 67. When they found theirs it was spread and stage 4. But i couldn't get them to do one. to me it is like getting a mamogram only for you whole body.
