    I have to pop in here every so often to watch the excitement build!!  Christina and Casino Girl might be going????????????????  You girls will not stop laughing...........just be prepared to sing 'Bye, Bye American Pie" for a long, long time after you get home!!

    Valerie........so nice of Terri to bring all the goods again!  Even though I won't be there this year, tell her thanks from me for all she does for the girls!

    Val.. lol.. you may have to make your tie die stuff.check with Vickie as to what she may be bringing... and terri is so kind to get stuff again...

    haven't heard from Kristin in awhile..will try to get ahold of her..she too has lots on her plate..

    OMG YOU GUYS!! MAX WON! MAX WON!! AHHHHHHHH!

    He gets to MEET Stephen Tyler and Joe Perry!!! I can't contain myself.. I am so happy at this moment.... you have no idea...!!!!  I think we won by like 3 votes at 5p!!  So, Each and Every vote was so important in this thing.... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.. for everyone who voted and a special thank you for anyone who forwarded this on to their friends and family... OMG!!!  Ahhhhh...!!!!!

    How do I tell him??? He's downstairs right now...clueless!!! Ahhh!!!!  

    I know this is a small victory in the scheme of things.. but you have NO idea what it meant to me to be able to do this for Max.... You guys are the absolute BEST!!!  Thank you so much!!! I can't wait for Wednesday!!!!!!

    I found this update post from holtbolt about how she told her son she won the contest- you all remember voting.  I can see in her post history she posted twice and it was about midnight so my guess is that she was just too pooped to post.  So, here's what she said- it's pretty cool!

    Okay..... what a day!!!  Max is stunned.. overcome with sheer joy ... I cannot tell you how happy we are at this moment... he is texting, emailing like a crazy person... he will NOT be sleeping tonight...So, we are eating spagetti.. and we (my husband and I) decided to play the game "if you could meet anybody (dead or alive) who would it be......." So, I went first and said mine.. 1) Elvis and 2) Rod Stewart (I'm a huge fan)... then my husband went next and I don't even remember what his two were because I was so excited I wasn't listening.. and then we said Max .. who are your picks.. and I kid you not.. he says...Well, 1) Joe Perry and 2) Stephen Tyler... !!  So, I said .. you know what?  You ARE meeting them Wednesday night.... and he said "What??" with this Very confused look... like he couldn't comprehend what I just said (or he's wondering how his own mom could be so cruel as to make a joke like that I don't know (lol)..... and I started to explain and he just stared and you could tell (as we explained about the contest and people voting, etc..) that it was clickin in that this was somehow Real.. and the tears welled up and he's rubbin his eyes.. and the chin quivered a little and....... well... I have never seen him happier..... he is totally shocked... and happy and... I don't know.. .... you know... during chemo... it killed me every day seeing his face when he came in from school..... he always came in the door at 3:25 and had this scared/worried look like every day he didn't know what he'd see when he walked in (some days I looked ok (wig, makeup, somewhat normal), some days I did not.. pretty scary)... I will never forget that scared/worried look when he came through the door with this backpack.... THIS... was a different look.. this look tonight... sheer happiness and joy.. this is the best day I have had in a Very very long time... life is good SmileWe cannot WAIT for Wednesday... first we are invited to a VIP Pre show party (Joey Kramer will be there. the drummer)... food, drinks, contests for more prizes... then the meet & greet with Stephen and Joe (pictures, autographs)... then the CONCERT ... OMG.. we are so so excited... we can't stand it... (oh yeah... they also send him some exclusive Aerosmith gift bag.. stuff from the fan site store)... Ahhh!!I know this might sound silly (this contest) to some people...and I realize it's a small victory in the whole scheme of things.. but you know.. it meant a lot to me to make him smile... and this would simply NOT have happened without you guys!!!   Thank you!!

    P.S.  I cut and pasted this from the other thread.. sorry if you had to read it twice!! lol  I'm exhausted! lol

    the gift "baskets"  what do you think of small bags for each attendee intsead of one.. with just a few attending this may be fun to have something from everyone.. that happened the first year too..

    don't forget the Bra project... the fashion show should be great...

    It looks like Christina from VA will be coming with me.   The gift basket still has me confused.  Was it going to be each person contribute and one basket for one person?   I personally do not need a gift basket or bag, although a "souvenir" of the trip would be nice.   Photos work good for me...

    I have my embellished bra more than half done - keep nagging me to finish it...

    Lefty - Is Christina a BC survivor as well? 

    Mine & Terry's bra's are half done as well.  She will be coming over this weekend and hopefully we will finish them.

    How about I bring a plain bra and we all bring what's left of our embellishments and make one bra while we are there with all the leftovers ????  What do you think?

    Ladies  - I'm thinking with the economy the way it is maybe instead of the goodie bags we only bring one item to give to each person - it could be anything you want.

    Val, Christina is a BC survivor, whom I met at chemo.  She is as looney as I am or maybe a bit loonier !!!

    Hi all...still planning on coming...it was great to hear your voice MB. I have been offered fireworks for the celebration from a store near here (I am near PA where they are legal)...it is up to MB if you want me to bring them or not.

    I have been collecting bra's and embellishments...will be getting lots of donations from Owego to auction off...making my "basket" of goodies. 

    I will also be bringing the squares that I have that need to be bordered and some that Sarah has bordedf for me.

    I am so going to miss so many that aren't going to be there this year.  I am working on a few bc survivors that I know that may come.

    If anything is needed please let me know and I will see what I can do...

    Karen - glad to see you are coming!! The more the merrier.  Most of us are bringing bra's all ready finished.

    But I just bought one at the $ store I am bringing with me so we ALL can decorate it while we are there!

    OK as for the baskets.. I am with VAL.. something small for all the women.. a little souvenier, trust me the candy bar wrapper, or small pins still make me smile everyday, even 3 years later.. and there was a little furry thing from Oklahoma too.. still smiles at me eveyday!!!.. little is great...

    This year I am going to try to get shirts made for my darling DIL and almost DIL, I would love everyone to sign them, they really do work very hard.. and maybe my grand daughters too!!!

    My bra will be finished, as those previous attendees will say I don't sit much..lol..

    I am getting more and more excited.   Are we on a countdown yet?   4 weeks, right?    

    My bra will be finished, or well on its way. And I agree, something small.

    Thanks Rachel, I was too pooped... and I still have chemo brain so I can't remember if I posted or didn't post.. anyway... here comes the sad news...The Aerosmith concert was cancelled on Wednesday and did not happen... just when we were pulling out of the driveway.. ugh!!.  All we know at this point is what has been posted on the venue website and fan website.. postponed due to "artist injury" ... they say a reschedule date will be announced.  We all hope that no one is seriously injured but they also postponed their concert in Hershey PA tonight.. (?)

    As you can imagine, it was a huge disappointment...... (we sat there stunned and teary eyed)... but instead of moping, the three of us got in the car and went to an amusement park (Kings Island) ..because when life gives you lemons... I guess you go eat funnel cakes! lol.  It turned out to be an excellent idea because we had fun and laughed alot....Anyway,  we all have our fingers crossed that they can reschedule and Max will still get to meet them and see them play.....

    Odalys... lol.. new batteries are in.. hmm was saving jose's trophy for this year, but will just have to mail it to him.. they or as Tim say HE won it for the charger...lol.. must have been because Jose was there....

    Ok I am getting ready for the family vacation next week,,, you know Ihave to keep them happy so they will work hard to make PINKSTOCK work... :)

    Nancy and Christina will be doing a road trip from the DC area.   We are not sure how long it will take us to get there, but Friday is marked on our calendars.   The Econolodge will be our base of operations.   

    11 days to go.   I got my port out this morning and gotta say it hurts.   I asked them to save it for me, but someone threw it in the "toxic waste" box.   I had thought of tacking it onto my Artful Bra.

    Hi MB, Sorry, I can't print out the from ( no ink in the printer !) But it will just be me and Ron. We're bringing our motor home. We're planing on coming on Friday till Sunday, or whenever you throw us out----LOL !!!!! I still haven't even started on the bra project---not much imagination, but I'll think of something ! I'll put a check in the mail for you today. Let me know if there's anything else you need. Can't wait to see you again !
