Pain in Esophagus and lip blisters

Options

My girlfriend I'm visiting is being treated with Avastin and Abraxane and last week she received her last treatment in her 8th cycle. She has been experiencing blisters on her lips that can be very painful and she's also having problems with pain in her chest that seems like it's in her esophagus or around her voice box. Is anyone else having any other side effects that are similar or know of someone who has and what it is caused from or how it was treated?  It's really starting to drive her crazy and nothing really seems to help. She's really felt miserable all day today and it's started a few days ago and it seems to be getting worse.  Thanks for your help!

My mouth, throat and tongue are very dry.. (I imagine the the dryness may be making her esophagus hurt)... I am also hoarse.  I am on Taxol and Avastin.

    Best of luck to her

I'm on Avastin and was on it while on A/C and Taxol too.  She better ask her onc about the chest pains.  I get hoarse from the Avastin at times, thats a side effect.  Still get mouth sores just on the Avastin and the A/C and Taxol made my hand and feet peel.

I read somewhere that for mouth sores you can have your dentist laser them and then they are not sore- wish I could remember where- anyway- worth a phone call to ask.  Tami

I just now saw this. I have the pain in my chest - it really hurts. I thought my upper back was going out and causing chest spasms. But the onco says its acid reflux. They gave me a prescription for Pantoprazole and it stopped it.
